My man Bruno going with the OG old school classics. Hope this kind of culinary authenticity (increasingly rare on CZcams) takes you to 2 million subs in no time 😊
This brings back my memory of 57 years ago. My first meal for my new husband, I thought this would be such a special offering. He ate it and even asked for a second portion. Years later (long after we'd divorced), he told me how disgusting they were! It still amazes me that he was so kind to ask for more. I think a lot has to be said for the wonderful garlic butter - but I genuinely enjoyed them. Your version looks so tempting!
If you don't mind me asking, why did you and your husband split?
@@Maityist It was the snails. 😂😂
Glorious. Appreciate that you highlight the often overlooked nutritional aspect of things you create.
The way you prepared I think I can try it 😊👍
Once again Bruno, your dish brings back warm memories of trips to France. While visiting the town of Fixin (Dept of Burgundy) my wife and I had some wonderful meals featuring escargot. Thanks again. Sante!
As always Chef you bring excellent quality dishes that feast our eyes!
I would love if you could include videos for greek traditional dishes like mousaka or greek salad!
Greetings from Greece!
My grandma was making snails for me when I was little I really liked them. She bought fresh, not frozen and cooked them in tomato sauce. Then at some point before high school I thought these things are disgusting and never ate them again lol
Shame on me but I harvested a ton of garden snales a few years back and fed them milk and bread and carrot for a couple of day, but Left the glass jug with a lid containing them out in the garden, the day after harvest was quite warm with the sun out. I came back to a jar of semi liquified snails.
Looks great!
I was looking for the charred leeks recipe 😂 to make the cereal decoration (delicious nori butter yesterday) ! We had snails from the garden and my father used to let them fast during months... in a gigantic fuel container... Maïté has a quick recipe on the Ina channel to clean the snails, just in case. Je voudrais pouvoir faire toutes vos recettes !!!!
Yeah!
If Bruno Albouze says it’s not worth cleaning fresh escargot yourself, it’s definitely time to buy canned
LOVE!!!! Do you have a link where to order good canned escargot ?
That sounds an awful lot like trying to find "good artificial vanilla"; it doesn't exist. lol
Super delicious💯👍👍👍👍💯💥💯❤💯👏💯
Мне больше нравятся устрицы из моря😊😉😋
❤❤
I too belong to the family of soft-bodied animals! Wait... 🙁
Escargot: delicious, and the ultimate proof that **anything** can taste good with the right kind of butter
😋😋😋😋😋😋😋
I had them once at a supposedly fancy restaurant. They were mostly dirt.
В жизни не пробовала😂😂😂
Burgundy: Cooking with Red Wine ? 🤔
Burgundy is the region of Bourgogne famous for its wine indeed but also for its food specialties (jambon persillé, oeufs meurette, boeuf bourguignon, escargots à la bourguignonne, gougères...).
It is also the common name for the snail. Burgundy snail. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Helix_pomatia#Uses

To be honest, escargots do not taste special, bit chewy. The good stuff is the escargot butter, delicious just on bread and toasted, or used on steaks and many other foods, like mussels.
But they are funny to eat
A little like lobster and all that butter (though not really the same).
🐌😋
Bruno,I will steal all your recipes and open a French restaurant in Asia and become filthy rich and I won’t give you a cent
I'd never eat this!! 🤢🤮
Yep....its a sin.
Shell on you 🤪
...and tastes like dirt! And you need a ton of other ingredients to mask that nasty taste!
I love French food but snails are just nasty! Might as well start eating earthworms next?!
Uhhhh, no. lol
