The worst part is how comfortable Tek Knight is saying all this shit to A-train who could easily kill him. To me, it implies thay before A-Train's redemption, he was completely comfortable being surrounded by racists and "people who hate him."
I wouldn’t say comfortable, I would feel like he was stuck with them for Vought purposes and stuff otherwise he would’ve get chewed out or beaten to death by Homelander

Note: A-train was a drug addict before so he would have probably been high AF or drugged up usually during such meetings. Now he has his head straight, he is noticing how terrible these people are.

The actor is phenomenal. The way he looks directly at A-Train after saying it is brilliant, and the BLM reaction was priceless. I’m kinda disappointed we won’t see him again, but also kinda disappointed his death was so tame. Would’ve been fun seeing A-Train or someone else do it Bluehawk style.

It’s less iron man and more Batman. The bat cave was originally part of the Underground Railroad by the Wayne great great grandfather to help people escape. Tek knight is a flip of that theme. Iron man didn’t have a butler if he did they weren’t integral to the story.

In the comics he was one of the few decent supes. Don't get me wrong, the actor was great and genuinely hillarious in every scene he was in, but I would have personally preferred to see that version of Tek Knight.

When Tek Knight mentions how he catches criminals and rehabs them, only to have to do it all over again is also a reference to Batman and his rogues. He literally catches them and gets them locked away in places that are expected to rehabilitate them for the better, only for them to break out and commit the exact same crimes over and over again, in a vicious, never-ending cycle. It’s common across superhero and action comics, but Batman is basically the face of such a reoccurring problem.
As a black person tek knight might be my new favourite character cause this is genuinely funny.
I love the boys , this show is extremely entertaining. I love how they mock the left and right wings. Than this scene is priceless, pointing out the obvious with the slave catcher reference. Some families in America only have generational wealth because of that , and pointing out how corrupt the prison industry was hilarious ( just another there form of slavery).
