This is exactly what I was looking for! I have built built drawers for Blum Tandem before but this time I'm working on building a pull-out shelf for my printer. I just wanted to see if my thinking was correct before starting my project. this is how I was thinking about it--the shelf is like a drawer with no sides--just the bottom part. I'm so glad I found your video!!!

After adding the shelf lock device, what is the overall depth of the shelf? For example, if I use 18" slides + lock device, how deep of the cabinet I needed?
