Just to further elaborate the reason I got a used crf250l instead of a Templar or hawk is because I wanted a dual sport that I could take on BDR’s that could also use the same soft luggage I had already purchased for my large adventure bike. And sadly no Chinese dual sports have that as an aftermarket accessory AND I was turned away by 3 different fabricators near me because of “safety” 😅

You aren't going to do much adventure riding on a bike with non DOT tires that tops out at 50mph, lol. Keep in mind this is a $1500 bike with $200 of Chinese plastic bolted on to it.
