Woo hoo, got it. 3/8. LCD of 12. 8H = 3. H = 3/8.
Thanks for the fun.
H=1/4*3/2=3/8.
Greetings. The answer is h=3/8. You start by cross multiplying, and thereafter divide both sides of the equation by 8 to get h=3/8 (from 8h=3).
2/3 H = 1/4 divide both sides by 2/3
H = 1/4 divided by 2/3 'flip' the 2/3 and multiply instead
H = 1/4 x 3/2
H = 3/8
h=3/8
Golden rule of algebra: "what you do unto one side of the equation you do unto the other".
2/3 H • 3/2= 1/4 • 3/2 =
6/6 H is 1H = 3/8
H=3/8
h= 1/4/2/3
1/4x3/2=3/8
Very simple
This one is quite easy... you want to loose the left hand 2/3 by multiplying both sides with 3/2...
So h = 1/4 x 3/2 = 3/8
2h/3 cross multiply 1/4=
8h = 3. h = 3/8
I thought you multiplied the 2*4=8 and the 3*1=3 giving 8h=3, then, 3/8=.375=h.
3/8
3/2
Ans, 8h=3 =>h=3/8.
is it h = 3/8
I did this in my head-YAY-taking math twice, once in fall, once in the summer paid off!
(2/3)h=(1/4)
Cross multiply so
(2×4)h=(3×1)
8h=3
h= (3/8)
V E R I F Y
(2/3)(3/8)=?(1/4)
(2/8)(3/3)=?(1/4)
(1/4)=❤(1/4)✔️
h = 1/4 × 3 = 3/4÷ 2 = 3/8
H=3/8
multiply each side by 3/2 , easy is beautiful
Exactly...too long winded for simple a problem.
I think @MathStuff-Explained explained it better
Kuppuswamy made difficult
3/8 off top of my head in 30 seconds
My dear your teaching method would confuse the student and they would not be able to finish the exam paper .

I’m shocked it took you more than 12 minutes to explain one of the most basic principles of algebra, adding zero and multiplying by one. This is a 1 line problem. You multiply both sides but 3/2 and you get the answer immediately as h = 3/8. I have no idea what you were doing for all that time, and I’m not going to waste 12 minutes to find out!
Don't complain. He usually takes 20 minutes. :)
@@terry_willisIn fairness, it takes a long time to say “algeberric” that many times.
I concur. Too much talking, too many words. Multiply each side of the equation by 3/2, and we’re done.
We advanced students know to invert the 2/3 to 3/2
And multiply both sides by it. 3/8. That took 5 seconds of mental math. We can do that because some teacher stood before us at a blackboard and taught the same lesson that John taught. I would not ask him to just teach the shortcut rather that the background info. Teach the new students as we were taught. I am here to keep my math "knife" sharpened. I suspect you are also. Just fast forward past the lesson.

Adding zero and multiplying by 1 is not a trick, it’s the most fundamental principle of algebra!
I'm sorry, you talk too long,which allows me to get more confused and you go to another instead of solving the first initial one.
This man spends a decade in the john yet he is still full of crap. Nfpnone not only you are shocked but I am sure 98% are . Simple.
You are just wasting people's time. A lot of drawn out long talking. It is unnecessary . Get to the problem already.
13 minutes to multiply both sides of the equation by 3/2???? This guy really enjoys hearing himself talk. Total disservice to math education.
Good fun getting these right !
We pretty much guessed the answer
Thanks for the up load !
