    I own Dualtron thunder. Rode it few times so far. Theres no hill to big it cant climb. Massive low end power. Speed not so much. I have all settings on full power and Top speed on any given day for me is between 41 and 45. Im 5 ft 9 212lbs. Now they get the number 50mph on flat road and rider weighing 160 ish. Thats 52lbs lighter then I and well weight does matter. It goes forever though. Im taking a run out to my folks and it will be the longest run yet on single charge. 40 miles one way. Shouldnt be a problem for the Thunder. Very high quality i love it. I d say its the Lexus of E scooters thus far. We see in the future how it holds up.

    Its all in controller settings. The dualtron shines in endurance and quality parts. The dualtron go many thousands of miles without failure compared to cheaper scooter breaking down sooner. Great race!

    what is the weight and real life range ?

    • @yeebyamcinema8282
      @yeebyamcinema8282  Před 3 lety +1

      The weight of the Maike KK4S scooter without seat is 100 lbs. I have the 35 ah battery and this scooter gets really good range. There are five battery bars and I have done 23 miles per bar on the lowest eco mode - 15 mph average. So if I want to get the most range on eco mode/15mph average with 5 battery bar x 23 miles = max 115 miles. Unfortunately I don't always cruise on eco mode/15mph average. I usually try to get the most range during the beginning of the ride and when down to 4 bars of battery then I increase my speed and finally on the way back is when I really jump on the throttle and do high speed. With this type of style riding, I've done over 55miles and still have 2 bars of battery left.

    Lean the direction you want to go before giving input.lean Forward for forward, lean left for left, right for right, and backwards for backwards acceleration or breaking. It's intuitive and once you do this riding will be a brease and no scooter no matter how powerful or good the breaks will throw you around or god forbid off. Learn to ride...have fun...im at 500miles on eagle pro, and about 500 on my thunder and I have never wrecked I stay in the road so if I do I can slide. Just my 2 cents

    • @yeebyamcinema8282
      @yeebyamcinema8282  Před 4 lety +4

      Watch @ 1:05 - 1:15. I'm sure the Dualtron Thunder guy adjusted his settings at 100%. This was the second time I met him and race. The first time I think he had on a lower setting and this time was supposedly 100% and my 3200W scooter still won. Don't underestimate this 60V 3200W scooter; I also have the Maike KK10S which is 60V 5000W but somehow the 3200W scooter has more torque all the way.

      @@yeebyamcinema8282 Hmm ok interesting! My scooter was 60V 5600W, but got stolen some days ago. Now I want to get a new one, but can‘t decide whether I should get one with 72V 7000W from FLJ, a Maike KK10S or a KK4S.

    • @yeebyamcinema8282
      @yeebyamcinema8282  Před 3 lety

      @@ToHaru-Chan Thanks for the question. According to your option mentioned above. My first choice; I would go with the FLJ 72V 7000w and if not second choice the Maike KK10S. The FLJ would be a better choice as it should provide more punch along with comfort and handling as it is a 72V with bigger wheel size. I recommend if you can get the highest battery capacity; it will be worth it.
      The KK10S comfort and handling is much better than the KK4S because it's got suspension arm with bearings and a much longer travel. The Kk4S handling and comfort is so terrible, because the suspension arm does not have bearings so everytime it bounces; you will feel and hear the squeak. Also the Kk4s ride is very harsh because of it's short suspension travel. Also the KK4S is much shorter and therefore your ride position is very limited- causing unwanted long ride discomfort when riding standing. Also the Kk4s is not as stable and likes to wobble at high speed. The Kk10s is more stable and likely does not wobble at high speed. But what the KK4S lack in handling and comfort; it has better torque and battery range than the KK10S.
      If I were you I would go with the FLJ.

    Your race is very good. I have a Maike KK10S which is also faster than the Dualtron Thunder.
    Filming required the Dualtron Thunder to be skipped forward and then overtaken. Then very obviously everything will show that Mike is faster.

      @@yeebyamcinema8282 To achieve higher top speeds, the Dualtron thunder is often self-improved. For example, install a 50 A controller instead of a 45 A controller.
      I still have a Toursor 7000W 72V, it's obviously faster than a Dualtron thunder. With a driver weight of 85 kg, it travels at a speed of 88 km / h.

      @yeebyamcinema8282  Před 4 lety +3

      Thanks for you comment. I appreciate for your concern. I ask the Thunder guy and he said he weigh 175 lbs and I weigh 155 lbs. The Dualtron Thunder weigh 95 lbs + rider 175 lbs = 270 lbs. I weight 155 lbs + scooter 100 lbs= 255 lbs. So there is a 15 lbs difference anyhow I don't think it would do a whole lot of difference. I did ask the Thunder guy if he want to try my scooter and race me on the Thunder, but he said no.
