    P&O Britannia Baltic Cruise 2023 | Copenhagen, Denmark
    ⚓︎ Ahoy there! Welcome to Copenhagen 🇩🇰 ⚓︎
    After a quick bus ride to the City Centre, we see the statue of Hans Christian Anderson, before looking around the magnificent City Hall.
    We have a look inside the Tivoli Lego store, before finding the oldest bakery in Copenhagen, which was established in 1652! We buy some delicious pastries.
    We visit the Little Mermaid in the harbour as we hadn't seen it on our last trip.⚓︎

    It's always so nice to see how other people experience the country you live in. And things we just take for granted becomes a special thing for visitors. And also makes us appreciate what we have.
    Your video is nicely made, and more like how ordinary people experience our capital. 😁

      We love Denmark and Copenhagen, and will definitely be back again. Probably need longer to truly experience it properly. Thank you for watching and your kind feedback. ☺️

    The good thing about British tourists, they don't complain over the weather, and they know how to dress accordingly.

      A bit of cloud and rain wasn’t stopping us enjoying Copenhagen for a second visit.

    Please keep showing us where to find the toilets!!! This has been so helpful as we are doing the same trip in 2025 and it’s always a worry!

      Definitely will. Pete always needs the loo so it’s a priority in every city! 🤣

      there are public toilets on the walking street "strøget" on the square in front of Illum departement store, there is also in the departments store Illum and Magasin, inside the Railway stations (only in the Main station you have to pay all other toilets in Copenhagen are free, on Nørreport station it is outside the station in addition there are small oval buildings around with toilets but they are not cleaned all the time as they are in the others mentioned

    Greetings from a local 🇩🇰 ! Sct. Peders Bageri (St. Peters Bakery) is Denmarks oldest, not only Copehagens 😊 ! Noticed a sign for the Restaurant "Cocks and Cows" 🤣 ! They do Cocktails and Burgers well! So "Cocks" is for Cocktails 🤣 ! Love to have you back! Sorry for the weather 🤣 ! Give it five minutes, it'll change 😊

    The bridge on your mug, is the Great Belt bridge, bigger than the one to Sweden.

    We're due to go on the Baltic Cruise in September with P and O on Brittania just curious is it walkable from port to the cities of Copenhagen and Helsinki were going to do the Hamburg trip when we dock in Kiel but thinking of we're right in the city of the others we don't need to book onto a tour and can make our own way - Thanks

    • @BroadwaysAway
      @BroadwaysAway  Před dnem

      Apologies for the late reply. This comment was held for review by CZcams, no idea why. Helsinki you can walk but it’s a very long one to the city centre. Copenhagen, again you can walk to the centre but it is a long way to the city centre. I think your best bet is to use the shuttle service into the city centre centres, but if you’re not planning to go to the city centre then you can walk around the area close to the ship. The mermaid statue in Copenhagen is fairly close to where the ships dock. Hope this helps. Have a wonderful cruise!!

    If you look carefully, you can find walls with embedded canon balls. Would you please bring them back to UK MOD? A certain Horatio forgot them here. 🙂

      We never noticed any, probably as we weren’t looking for them. History is a wonderful thing.

    Hi both,
    Great video of your trip to Copenhagen, lovely place .
    How did you enjoy Brittania?
    We went on it in April , noticed a decline in lots of ways especially cleaning of cabin ,

      Hi Jane. We liked Britannia, it was our first time on board her. I agree that some of the ship was starting to date, and is looking grubby, especially with soot on decks. Our suite was nice and cleaned every day up to a good standard. Thank you for watching 😊

    We are doing this cruise in September so have enjoyed watching your adventures. Is the old bakery easy to find and how far off the tourist route is it ?

    • @BroadwaysAway
      @BroadwaysAway  Před rokem +1

      The bakery is only a 5~10 mins walk from City Hall plaza, we used google maps to find it. So no, it’s not too far. Thank you for your kind comment. 😊
