- On Oct 11th, we performed this massive sing-along at Yonge-Dundas Square in Toronto with Johnny Fay and Rob Baker, from The Tragically Hip, to commemorate the anniversary of Gord Downie's death as well as celebrate the date of legalization in Canada, something that Gord was very passionate about.
We encourage you all to sing along with us as you watch, what we feel is, a fitting tribute. We all miss you, Gord.

Never heard of Choir Choir Choir till they performed at a work conference I went to last week. I feel richer for having seen them, as Gord Downie would say.

Holy shit! I didn't expect it to hit me the way it did. I was just in it to hear a choir sing The Tragically Hip. I certainly did not expect the flood of emotions that poured out of me. Fun fact... It is hard as Hell to drive when you can't stop crying.

Having just watched Paul Langlois' performance on his step in honour of Snowbird, Jenn Casey, make me remember how much we also miss Gord. Wouldn't it be great during covid to have The Hip still around to comfort us.

Yup. Teared up as bad as I did the last time I saw them, and was front row. Seeing my favorite band since I was 12 that close was so surreal. Wrote a bit for "Museum After Dark" which is a lyric/fan site about the experience.
I was able to experience this poet 4 times, and still listen to The Hip once a week or more

I have American friends in Buffalo who have probably seen the Hip more than most of us up here. If you love them, it's irrelevant where you're from. Just enjoy them.
