China can not make that call as it too has territorial claims on territory in SE Asia, India and Russia! They would have to give up their claims or make a settlement. China would lose “face” by supporting such a peace process! Lastly it’s profitable for China to continue to sell and support Russia. I believe 70% of new automobiles sold in Russia are Chinese.
and Russia will be a future market for Chinese weapons and technology. A couple of decades away but these are long term considerations.

He's on a high horse, once they stop arming Israel and Ukraine, then perhaps he may have a moral high ground. Even then it is dependant on everyone turning a blind eye to the atrocities committed in vietnam/korea/Bosnia etc and more recently Syria, Libya, Afghanistan and the illegal war in Iraq.
