its a sort of new folk influenced a bit by current pop and acoustic styles quite refreshing i dont like pop but i love all these folky/acoustic artists truly brilliant and refreshing

They need to write a script for "Ripper Street" that starts off with Johnny singing as a street minstrel, who gets nicked by some subversives plotting political upheaval, then later saved by Sgt. Drake (JF's real life brother Jerome). This song would be perfect, and he's already got the period costume.

How degrading it must be for a musician to hear people say 'your music is beautiful' and in the same breath 'you are beautiful'. Yes, he is beautiful. But he's not a pin-up matinee boy-toy. He's that breath of fresh air when you come out of the London underground into the open. Stay down there and breathe in the fake, rushing air when you step off the tube - Lady Gaga and co - it feels nice but it's not real. Appearances mean NOTHING.
johnny flynn actually came before fionn regan. don't get me wrong fionn regan is greatbut people like diane cluck and jeffery lewis are his influences.
