Thank you, great video. I saw him at the Vuelta this year. He was on the podium in his home town, Toledo. He still looks great. Must be well up in his 80s

That is correct , when Gaul was on top form he was untouchable, even Bahamontes for all his brilliance was no match for Gaul at his best ,
