Bastille is one of the bands who sound as good live as they sound on their album.

It's because they are so natural. They don't pretend they're something they're not. They are just themselves.
It's a shame that most people only listen to the most popular songs like Pompeii, Flaws, Bad Blood and Things We Lost In The Fire. They're missing out on some of Bastille's greatest songs like this, Poet, These Steeets, Laughter Lines, Skulls and The Silence ❤️
I personally prefer Poet, These Steeets, Laughter Lines, Skulls and The Silence. I find them more haunting than the more popular songs.
Yeah me too, there's a lot more emotion behind these songs but have to admit I do love Bad Blood though. But Pompeii, I don't hate it but I think it's my least favourite of their songs.
pompeii is really good but I feel its overshadowing the other songs... I think all this bad blood pt 2 has the better songs
Icarus is actually by far my favourite Bastille song followed by the weight of living

Why are people hating on people that found them by their mainstream songs? Surely you should be happy that people have found the same band that you like. It makes no sense that you dislike people that like the same stuff that you do. Stop hating on people and just enjoy the music.

I discovered them because Pompeii hit majotlr success... and since then I've delved into there music so deeply that they are my top bad.... I just saw them play this song live last night... it was pure amazing! and when I see them in videos like this being practically nobody's... it makes me love them more
They're so down to earth, that's why I love this band. I mean, how many bands nowadays do you see doing this kind of stuff?

Bastille is superb, but daaaang, Dan Smith is incredibly captivating and has extraordinary talent.
The way Dan's face scrunches up when he hits those certain notes is both adorable and something to compliment on. He and the others look like their having a hell of a time. It's one of the things I love about acoustic performances.
I've always loved icarus but it now has a new meaning to me, when I was at their gig I made eye-contact with Will several times and when the song ended he blew a kiss at me, it was the best night of my life

okay i never comment on CZcams ever but i just love this band so much bc they literally only have a guitar and their voices and their bodies and they still make magic like this. blows my mind @ the chorus oh my goodnesssss
coming back this is so nostalgic, i used to watch it all the time when i was 10 or so. my wifi sucked so it would buffer all the time, but i was persistent bc i loved the song so much!

I saw them last weekend in Birmingham and met them after the gig....you will not be disappointed. They are excellent live and a really nice bunch of blokes. Enjoy the gig
