- This is a video about how to make an Ametrine crystal Medallion, Amulet or Talisman that has no holes.
A stunning, natural occurring combination of amethyst and citrine.
In thIs video I am guiding you through the process I've taken to make this large crystal that does not have holes, into a lovely pendant or medallion/amulet/talisman aka wearable art!
I explain what I'm doing how and why. Along with information about the stone and its healing properties as well.
This design is unique to the crystal, unable to be copied exactly again.
This wire wrap or wire weave looks complicated but I am here to show and teach to you that it is not!
Stay until the very end to get all the juicy info and details about this crystal Ametrine!

Stunning work! Citrine and amethyst aren’t 2 separate stones fused together. Citrine, natural citrine is amethyst that is naturally heated up in the ground. From the extreme heat it changes the amethyst into a citrine. That’s why citrine is so rare. A ametrine isn’t 2 separate stones fused its actually been harvested out of the ground during the process of turning from an amethyst into a citrine. That’s why they are so rare. Citrine is rare because the heat process takes a ridiculous amount of time to turn and to harvest it during that process is very rare. That’s why they bake amethyst. When u bake amethyst u are forcing the process of an amethyst turning into a citrine that would have happened naturally in nature. So baked amethyst is citrine it’s just forcing the process. A lot of ppl think that natural citrine has the same properties as an unnatural citrine. And for all intensive purposes it is but when u bake it and force the process u actually soften the stone. A lot of amethyst explode , crack or shatter. It’s just not meant to do it that fast. Baked amethyst isn’t a fake citrine it’s an unnatural citrine. It’s still a quartz crystal n still a citrine nonetheless it’s just weaker and not natural.
This is one beautiful stone. The wrapping is EXCEPTIONAL!!! 💜💜💜

Heyyyy, this fantastic!! I tried to copy and make one as I watch but my wire isnt as malleable and bendy! It hurts my fingers to push hard and get it to bend tightly! What wire do you use? Just followed u on instagram :D xx
Hello, I have been wrapping my jewelry with galvanized wire, however, I just found out it contains lead, zink, and that it can be toxic, what is your view on this and is it safe for me to sell the pieces I have made since they are very creative. Is it safe for me since I have metal alergies, I do wash my hands very often while handling but I am converneed for myself and selling it to others. I have read that copper is the best metal for jewelry wrap, is this a true statement? is copper safe to wear by the consummer. what is your best advise, can I still sell the jewelry I have wrapped with galvanized wire? is it safe for me to continue handling wire due to allergy?. I trust ur guidance, awaiting your response.
What's your wire holder to keep in place???
I would like to know too.
ummm. did you keep the 21 inch squares as 2 tails wrapped in the 26 inch and then, start a weave of the the 2, 21 inch square copper separate ...
