- Hardest platformer so far, super fun! Only real complaint is that there's 2 collectables you need that if you don't get you just can't beat the level. It tells you but still, if you miss it its back to the start! Also the shader trigger breaks sometimes but that's just GD i think.
The atmosphere is super super good on this! I love the music choices especially Yuko NAILED it with that. I'm not exactly a D1 limited visibility player but I still made it through ok which is impressive from a decoration standpoint. Yuko is constantly making bangers for the platformer gamemode, I'm really excited about what's to come!
Unfortunately I played like ass... Sorry about all the complaining. Just going through a bit of a video game funk lately, skillwise. I made it through alright but my play was just super sloppy today. I hope I can perform better in the future. I think a lot of it was just the sheer amount of diagonals, although now i can definitely say I'm way better at them!
A lot of people are going to read that and be like "WTF! This is harder than anything I can do you did great!" and to that I say that I'm only saying it to myself. I could honestly care less about how good people are in comparison to me my mind doesn't really think about things in those terms. I just am not playing to my own standards, and I have absolutely no intent on making anyone feel bad about themselves. Sorry if it ever comes off like that. I'm sure I'll get out of this funk soon and start doing some stuff I'm really proud of!

Im legit thirsty for platformer levels, usually i prefer speed based gameplay but this level looks way more interesting than the average extreme demon. It feels like an entire adventure with a story. My only,ONLY complaint about platformer mode currently is that i wish some levels could let you save and quit so we can actually keep increasing the difficulty of the game without needing players to stay awake for 10h

I think that Rob shouldn't add that cus if he doesn't, it forces people to try and get runs and practice more before their main completion, which more interesting and healthy then a 10+ hr grind

I'm a celeste player too but I don't like levels like this. And it's not about that pixel-perfect positioning, It's about this darkness. I want to... you know... SEE THE LEVEL

@@demolicious3832I played it and it looked fully visible to me. I didn't get any problems in that aspect. It feels more dim than dark to me honestly, and there's nothing inherently wrong with it imo.

This is one of the reasons why I'm somewhat avoiding platformer mode. Some levels just look painful to play imo. Congrats to anyone that beats them but gawd damn.

i highly disagree with saying people who don't like precision robot jumps will never be happy with platformer. it's probably just the easiest way to spike difficulty right now, but we'll see more variety in the future i'm sure

honestly, this level is WAYYY better than tower xxii could ever be (although im kinda biased with the towrr xxii since🎉i spent 10 hours on the 2 mini spikes at cp3) sure this level still has its stupid chokepoints, but it just has a lot more of an impact i feel, a vibe of uncertainty that i just love

robot is literally just better cube... Like think of modern platformer games, a lot of them (celeste for example) allow you to vary the height of your jump depending on how long you hold your jump key, so there's a reason why people use robot in harder levels
The robot went 7 years being the least used gamemode, at least give it some time to shine :(
