Thinking of travelling to Doha, Qatar?...Thinking about visiting the World Cup 2022 or even one of the many football tournaments or sporting events before then to be held in Qatar?...Perhaps, you just need a holiday and wondering where to go?... then Qatar and the spectacular City of Doha is the place to visit!
With loads to do and places to visit once you arrive, let the train take the strain out of travel once you arrive. To aid your decision, here is a personal overview of the new (in 2019) Doha Metro Gold Line.
Apologies for the mistakes on occasion...the World Cup in Qatar is in 2022, and the Metro Lines are the Gold, Red and Green lines.
I must also add that since making this little insight, the Qatar Government have announced that all Metro lines and stations will be opening on the 10th December 2019. This is in time for the FIFA Club World Cup. So that's the Gold Line (use it to get to the Khalifa Stadium at Sports City, the Red Line (for Al Janoub Stadium in Al Wakrah - bus transfer from Al Wakrah Station. Also Red Line for the World Cup 2022 opening ceremony, the final and other matches at The Lusail Stadium - station 2022), and finally the Green Line (for Education City Stadium and Al Rayyan Stadium).
