Extreme Patio Makeover | with multicolor lights for evening vibes

- Join us as we expand and transform our patio space into a backyard oasis. We started out with a small 10x12 patio and a screened porch area in need of some TLC. My contractor was booked solid when I first reached out back in February so we had to wait until May to start the project. I wanted this project completed in the spring so that we could do a little hosting before this GA heat kicked in.

@@lisaawild I was trying to keep the birds from hurting us lol. They get really aggressive which is why we have the screened area. Momma bird will try to take over🥴

I really love how you extended your patio to the end of the house. Your pergola & table are beautiful.
Thank you. It just felt natural to extend it this way since ethics part of the house gets good shade in the afternoon. We enjoy sitting out here in the evening.

There comes some
Linen or cortains for the pergola. It will minimize that solar X-rays and keep the cozy look.
Great suggestion! We had curtains up in the screened porch area for years and decided not to put them back this time. I think we're going to opt to cover the pergola with sails and then decide if we'll add curtains in the corners. Honestly this comes down to upkeep. The curtains get dirty so quick and your friend doesn't have time to keep up with it😂 you'll see all the old curtains at 3:42

1. We have a cover. I think my husband got it from The Cover Store. I’m editing a patio update video now and I’ll include a clip.
2. We don’t have them glued down, they stay because of the screened porch trim. However,, we never had issues with them spidering off the other side of the patio.
3. They are D-E-A-D! I was so hurt 🥴I waited 2 years for them to bloom again🥲

Yes, we used coverstore.com. We’ve used them for all of our patio furniture for the last 5 years or so. It’s held up very well with no peeling, cracking, or tearing.
