I will feel much comfortable for my Central heat at 68-70 degrees.
I live in NJ and the cold weather is very extreme below freezing temps 20-5 degrees F and if I have a house living in my own home 🏠 I’ll set it at 67-70 degrees F and keep my self and my house warm .
65 degrees day and night works for me.
My dad paid the heating gas bill -- enough said! 😂🤭
I fight for 67 degrees. This was a constant fight every winter. He wanted it at 72-74 degrees. I would die! Growing up, it was 66 and we were told, if your cold get up and move around a bit. As well as, grab a sweater, put slippers on, blow dry our hair (if it was bath/shower day).
...Ive just been trying to find something on how to keep my room at 86 when the other rooms in the house are stuck at 72, but I'm curious now:
1: Where is the info around intentionally* keeping 1 area warmer? Its got to be somewhere...
2: Why does everyone recommend such ridiculously cold temperatures? Im way too curious now.
The ideal temperature is whatever makes you feel like.
Well uummm mines usually at 73 and I'm home all day
