My dream Audi sedan! Brilliant video Ben.
The interior is beautiful it reminds me of the Porsche 911 for 1/3 the price. The interior looks better then all the other audi models.
Ben you're an excellent automotive journalist keep posting man
The Quattro AWD is actually more rear biased at least for the A4, A6, Q8 and all other more performance models
Still loving my A3 after year 1 of my lease. I chose silver exterior w/black optics pkg. really sharp looking car, & still not seeing too many out on the road. I do wish it had a little more power, but I also know I’d have to open up my pocketbook a little wider for the S3 or RS3 - I gotta crawl before I walk lol
Can you put regular gas into your A3 or does it have to be premium?
For the price of a new A3,you can have the 2022 A5 Premium Plus 45 with no more than 40K miles on it as a Certified Pre-Owned.I am actually looking to get that particular A5 model year next spring.Beautiful car.
Ben, this or the integra A-spec?
Guys what mode is best? Comfort auto dynamic etc? It’s my first Audi. So I can leave it in drive but use suspension as dynamic? Also could I drive in comfort and s mode? Can somoenmpleas help me
The comfort/ auto/ dynamic is the adaptive damping system in the suspension. Dynamic being the most stiff and unforgiving. It also changes the steering responsiveness as well. The S or sport mode keeps the engine rpm’s higher and gets closer to redline before shifting. It’s a more responsive acceleration. I’ve got the black optics package which comes with the sport suspension that is already stiff so I just keep mine in comfort. It’s stiff enough already.
@@QuattroZack1 thanks man. Yea when I put it in dynamic it’s very stiff. I like comfort. When I want I go into sport mode. I drive stick shifts up until now at 37. I don’t like how the rpm on automatics are. Totally different all together stick shift and Auto but not a fan. My wife has a Benz and same thing. I love Audi though all together. Great cars.
I miss the convertible from the last generation A3
Geez Ben; compare this to the 228i and I feel like this is more practical. Agree the proportions are excellent
why do you feel this is more practical vs the 228i
How tall are you?
I like it.
Between Audi A3 and Cadillac ST5 which one is better?
A3
Shame we don’t get the 2.0l in the UK...just the 1.5 150ps...
I know right, that would've been 👌
Had to watch it on half the playback speed to even grasp some of that info but otherwise good video
Best thing about the new A3 is that it makes the proper Audi 5 cylinder in the RS3 very special. And for A3 money or less you can get a pretty nice Golf GTI instead.
I had a gti and now have an a3. A3 all day. Real luxury
What’s the big difference besides luxury ?
@@b3wavy573 no big differences.
The Audi 5 cylinder is a beast, and sounds unlike anything else out there. Really something special. The VW group inline 4 2.0L is just in varying states of boost. Get yourself a nicely equipped GTI, a tune, and a handful of hardware swaps and you'll safely be at S3 levels of power. Meanwhile the chassis and interior of the A3 isn't anything special, and it's miles behind the A5 if being representative of what a real Audi is what is important.
@@markcoopers1930 the A3 was never meant to be that. It is what it is. It depends on your price range and what your looking for. Again I’ve had both cars and I stand by my Audi.
Make do say how many cylinders more audibly!!!😭
No electric start
after driving the RS versions you will obviously feel a little unsatisfied by the normal base versions
Duhhhh
Sooooo, is it worth buying over a BMW?
In Italy that price became 46000€
That's insane😂😂😂
Are these even reliable?
Not really. Most lease and not worry about it. Plus they don’t hold their value at all. Fun cars though.
@@teeduckThe ea888 gen 3’s aren’t too terrible from what I’ve heard. I have a friend with 160k miles on his 1.8t Jetta with low problems. It’s all about the maintenance.
Why do you speak so fast?
Wanted to love it, but cluttered front center stack, and as if that wasn't enough oodles more switches on the roof. Rear seat cord pockets waiting to sag. Why is the boot so squared off? Every good sportscar needs a handbrake, not a electric brake. Just not feeling it. VW vibes very heavy.
Why wouldn't be worth buying it over a BMW? It is an Audi.
A disappointment, Audi does not make luxury cars anymore. I have a new A 3, 2 l, quatro and it does not come anywhere near my other mazda CX 30 awd, 2 l (better specd of course). Mazda comes near a luxury brand more than an A3. The plastics in the A 3 are awfull, even cheap brands make cars with better interiors. The good things: engine is more powerful....but less reliable and quicker gear shifts...also less reliable
Omg you talk fast! I hope this trend ends!
Play back speed 0.75x works 😊
@@karthikreddy6671 nahhh I’m good 👍🏾
they made it slower, pass
Acura Integra Type S over this
Honda vs a German yeah right
@@9k827 you mean japanese vs german?
Audi S3 > Integra Type S
Integra type s is a rebadged civic SI. Don’t ever compare a civic SI to an Audi, bro.
@@fabulouspoet and Audi is made by VW. Shared engines and platforms. My wife owns a Q5 - Audis are great cars, but they're still owned and operated by VW.
No
They should stop making sedan cars. They are uglies things ever made.
I honestly have to agree with you as far as the A3 goes. When they discontinued the "wagon" version and offered it as the Etron only for the U.S. and brought the sedan as the replacement, I was very disappointed. The again "wagon" per brochure, model is what the A3 was presented as so why change that...OH YEAH! The bean counters and their relentless pursuit to create more sales regardless of what the customers really want, by tapping into a market that's already dominated by others. If I wanted a lexus IS300 then I'd go and buy one. If I wanted a mazada cx-30 then I'd go and get one of it, but I don't! I honestly feel like the company and VW in general has lost it's character and trying to be what it's not just for more sales which in return will cause them to suffer massive losses.
