Ravenscroft, first piano library I felt that wasn't a sample (like Grandeur and even Noire), the response is very good, and the mic variations are very pleasing.

Can I just buy the Grandeur and use it w/ my Yamaha CP4 or ROLAND as a Controller like I do with other Plug-ins? Or do I need to buy a separate MIDI CONTROLLER? Thx in advance, George

This is great. Thanks! Sound is secondary to me (they all can pass generally) as I’m more concerned about which most feels like a piano (classical piano) and the best midi keybed that emulates an actual piano (preferably wood keys). My goal is to replicate an actual piano.

I have all of them. Pianoteq used to be my go-to piano solution. Now, I pretty much rock with Native Instruments Noire most of the time. I do not really care for Alicia's Keys even though I have it as part of Komplete 14 Collector's version. For anything with an electric piano... Keyscape is head and shoulders above the others mentioned in this video. As for Ravenscroft 275, I don't even have it installed anymore. That goes for Garritan Abbey Road CFX too. I wish that I could have gotten my money back on those last two and a bunch more (I'm talking to you, VI-Labs and Gospel Musicians etc...)

I own KeyScape and think it is the best it has a lot of pianos and their Studio would be the one like the Ravenscroft. As far as piano VST's Keyscape and the ones in Logic and Rhodes VST are all I'm familiar with so a lot of my comparison is with my stage pianos builtin pianos. I've had Nord, Kronos, and Roland and and in general I like the Keyscape better than the builtins. Nord pianos I'm on the fence about some days I like them a lot or other days not so much, but even in the Nord I like their Yamaha C7 sample.
Also as you mention Keyscape is more than just acoustic pianos it has quite a collection of electric pianos and variations, Clavinets and other keyboard instruments. Plus they are all tweakable.
Gear videos are nice but prefer the ones on playing. For me the notes are what's important not the sounds.

Me too, it's supports have pedaling, tuning the velocity like may make it even, sound close to the nord piano. It's playability is unique, buh keyscape also has depth in it's sound, just that I like the lows are too much, or maybe it's from my headphones 🎧🤷🏾‍♂️
