  • Crossville is an old Tennessee town formally known as Lambeth's Crossroads, named after Samuel Lambeth who opened the first store. The store was built at the crossroads of a cattle trail and wagon trail around the 1800's pretty close to where US 70 and US 127 cross today.
There are many historical buildings and locations around the city of Crossville well worth taking the time to see. The downtown area is less than four miles from Interstate 40 with many restaurants offering a tasty break from traveling. After your meal I highly recommend walking around the downtown area and visit some of the locally owned stores and shops.
Plan your stay by visiting uppercumberland.org for more information on all that Crossville has to offer.

My sister lived in Crossville many years ago. I visited her for about a week and really enjoyed the area.

Thank you so much for this. My dream was to return home after living abroad for a long time to meet up with a friend and our plan was to settle in Crossville. However, he passed away unexpectantly. Now with the USA growing 'stranger' and 'less safe' , I wonder if I will ever be able to come home again. Yet, I never miss one of the Crossville videos! Thank you so much! D
