Thinking of buying the Samsung Hot and Cold Ac. It's basically the same as this one except it's 4 star and has a heat pump i.e. reversible flow of refrigerant in order to provide hot air. LG makes Hot and Cold Acs too. Which company do you prefer since you own both? In terms of not just efficiency but build quality of ODU, IDU and remote.
And another thing. What does it mean to run a convertible AC at say 40%? As per my understanding inverter ACs upon reaching the set temperature work just enough to maintain it. Isn't it then by nature a variable air conditioner?

Most of the sales executive are not recommending me Samsung ACs. The reason being, i stay at top floor and sunlight hitting directly from afternoon making it too warm at afternoon. They said that Samsung ACs are not capable of heavy duty. Is this true? My room is of 156 sq ft.

This does not have any heating features ,only useful for cooling.
Performance wise no complain so far, working in scorching summer heat in lucknow.

Hello dear, I have just bought Samsung 1.5 Ton Air Conditioner from Flipkart. Now its service request has gone to the nearest service center and is also showing confirmed status. Now it is the turn of the second steps where the appointment is being written, so do we have to take an appointment or do the service center automatically fix the appointment?
You should get a call automatically as Flipkart has it all integrated if not then you need to call service center which is again a smooth process..

When ac is start that time all control settings of remote we have to set everytime so this is not issue.
I have also experienced this problem and I was confused for this remote settings issue. But when I met of technician he told me in this model when ac is start that time you have reset all settings every time and can't set in this model because this is by default from samsung.

Hi ,no it's not the wifi model but the display unit on the ac provides suffient info like electricity unit consumption etc... so mostly I am having good smell. One small drawback I faced is that compared to Lg AC it smells a bit more for 1st 2-3 minutes in the beginning if not serviced from some time..rest everything has worked good so far no issues or repairs...

Carrier are the pioneers when it comes to AC. Although these these other companies are bringing in more features including samsung too. 120 sq ft is not as issue even for 1 ton AC so its completely your choice. Carrier has a better track record in AC segment while samsung is offering great features for same price.
Is this Samsung AC still working & cooling like near to new in comparison to 3 years ago cooling levels.
Any minor repair job you had to do through samsung till now .
Answer 2nd one if you feel comfortable .
Hi I haven't gone for any repairs, only servicing/cleaning once a year is good. And for cooling it's all good so far.

You need yo tell them to bring wall stand or normal floor stand for outside unit. Apart from that ask them to bring extra copper pipe and wire just in case its required but will be charged only if used.

How to open this Ac for cleaning ?
Do we just need to remove the outer part or do we need a screwdriver ?
Self cleaning is just limited to filter on the top which has no screws just simply pull it out...2nd way to do self cleaning from remote>options ...but for proper cleaning servicing needs to be done by calling these people...

Frankly bolu to ek baari kisi purane known shop owner se ye baat discuss karo ki logo ka kis company ke saath kya experience rha hai... Ideally ac jaise appliances ke issues hone pe engineers on site aate hai and baswd on warranty hai ya nhi us hisaab se paisa padta hai.. Baaki installation me issue nhi hona chahiye agar deliverable hai to.

Yaar installation ke charges variable hote hain depending upon length of additional copper pipe jo coolant carry krta hai, installation stand etc. Baaki stabilizer jaruru nhi hai Lena agar aapke area me light ke fluctuations jaada na hote ho. Aaj Kal ke ac me inbuilt hota hai.
Baaki offline me to in cheezo ka additional cost pehle se hi clear karlena tha waise.

Both are more or less same in functionality its just few feature differences like wifi and one being quite.. Frankly speaking carrier is a bigger name when it comes to just ACs but then again these days its more about service centres and longevity. Plus user reviews on amazon are amazing for panasonic. So i would have chosen panasonic but its purely my own preference not that one is better then the other.

Sir, samsung offering 5 years comprehensive warranty on 2021 model cover PCB and condenser , but Flipkart only mention one year warranty on product, not 5 year PCB...
If buy Flipkart , There will be no 5 year warranty on pcb and condenser.
Will company offer 5 comprehensive warranty to you...
Hi even i am doubtful😕 now because all i saw earlier was 1 year overall warranty and 10 years on compressor but no mention of 5 years on PCB..so the only way would be to check with customer service .
One year warrenty covers free servicing of any malfunctioning of the product. However warrenty on pcb and condenser coil is different which will be replaced within the course

Ye inka cleanup mechanism Hota Hai...most of the times Mai ac ko off krne ke baad first on and off krdeta hoon instead of waiting for counter to complete..

LG me agar 40 % pe set karte hai to off karne ke baad jab bhi next time on karte hai to wo 40 % pe hi rahta hai. Lekin samsung 100 % pe aa jaata hai ye nahi malum
