The Jumbo Shrimp is SUCH a a good silencer. SO light SO short but it will make you think “Wow, this little TINY can that doesn’t even weigh as much as a couple muzzle brakes out there is actually hearing safe.” Favorite Q can…. For now, I have a PorQ & Short Chop submitted.
I don’t know why I continuously subject myself to watching videos of The Fix in 8.6. I feel like a kid in November waiting to see what toys I will get for Christmas. This MUST be a new member of my weapon family…even if I have to sleep in the doghouse for a couple of months. As of today (April 20th), I am now a proud owner of a FIX in 8.6!!!

I also picked up an 8.6 blk for the supressor promo & it is awesome! Im in no hurry, so im giving Q time to send out a response/update regarding the suppressor. Finally, my ammo came in and threw a scope on it so i can finally get the feel for shooting it. Went with Gorilla Ammo since Q talks about them(im assuming thats who they would recommend). Also, thanks Gorilla for doing the discount the other week on ammo. I'm not sure about everyone else, but the 8.6 blk doesn't kick much(& i even get annoyed about shotguns and 30-30's) and I'm not even sure if i should even put the "hard ass" butt stock on it. Not to mention the stock bolt handle is fine(my mag is just a little loose on the front & slides down enough that the bullet wont chamber, so I'll get different mags & also try the velcro or what ever on the front of the mag. Im super happy with my purchase, & picking up the whistle tip and a few other accessories for it. Q, do you have an update for the BoomBox? Excited for that to come out as well.
Will the old AAC hand guards work on a HoneyBadger? I noticed that they both use the turnbuckle system to secure it to the barrel nut, hoping they would interchange.
Wondering if a .22lr will be in the works?? I have a fix 6.5 and love it. I have a Vudoo 360 .22 in an MDT chassis that cost me way more than my fix and weighs a shit ton Would be pretty awesome if Q made a .22 fix version with a match grade barrel
I'm buying a 6.5 fix that is for sale by a local guy on consignment through my favorite local FFL, I'm not sure why the poor guy had to get rid of it, but I'm certainly not bummed about having the opportunity to get my hands on one. I'm wondering though, buying it as a second owner, will I qualify for the free silencer promotion? If not I suppose I'll have to take the savings from buying it as a second owner and use that to pick up the suppressor! Either way I love what you guys are doing and I can't wait to get my hands on this beautiful piece of engineering!

@@matthewbeecher8062 negative son. It got “Ruger Americaned” by the rem 700. The masses sacrificed quality for cost. The Ruger American and savage axis and a bolt 2’s are the rem 700’s of today. The M70 will always be a nicer gun
The old 80s and early 90s were decent. Anything after that and esp now that they are built over seas they are junk. I've owned 2 and I wouldn't take a truckload of 70s for 1 of my 700s it's still the most popular, reliable and accurate actions out there. That's why pretty much every military in the world has them or a clone of it. And yes the finish did suffer after the gun manufacturers moved away from the old style bluing but so did all of them. You can thank democrats and epa regulations for that stupid mess they call bluing now.

A savage can weigh less, have 6 more inches of barrel, come in better calibers for hunting, cost half as much and come in left handed. I’m buying a savage. Period. Unless… Q comes out with a left handed fix… then I’d buy Q…
