- Another one of those instances where I wanted to produce a version of a classic tune for old times' sake and, basically, because it's such a good song.
I used Cubase Pro (V10) Halion Sonic for cello and synthesizers, Fender Jazz Bass, Fender Telecaster American Special, Tambourine, shaker, and chest slapping.. lol

That's not Terry Hall singing. He has a very distinctive voice and this isn't it.

I love this song for lyrics and duet possibilities. I've heard the Go Gos and Fun Boy 3 versions, but I've never heard Terry Hall and Jane Weidlin sing it together, even though they wrote it together. Any links?

My original point was that the Lemonheads song "My Drug Buddy" was performed live very well by Juliana Hatfield and Evan Dando. Fairly sure it's on youtube.
No link, sorry - I'd heard or read that Terry Hall wrote this with Jane... is this wrong? I've always liked the song, that's why I had a go at a cover....

@@in2gadgets Hi, Kenny. Wikipedia has Jane Weidlin and Terry Hall as co-composers. As to how they actually met or whether or not they recorded a duet version of this song, your guess is as good as mine.
