Honestly, that's what I thought too, but pen palling doesn't require much money. The dollar store is a great place for little nick nacks, and you can get free tea at hotels and paint samples for free at the hardware store. all you need is a pen and paper, and the rest will take care of itself.

Do you have any tips on getting/starting penpaling? I'm interested in it, but not in a k-pop themed one you know? How would I find someone with the same interests as me? That being nature, animals, and some games like Sonic, Rain World, Ori and the Blind Forest, etc.
well i guess you always can find someone with the same interests as you? to be honest i mainly know where to find kpop penpals. but you can try to join a penpal group on amino or facebook and make a quick introduction of what you like for example. you can also use hashtags on instagram to find a penpal. or even youtube i guess? sorry for not helping so much but this is the best i can do to answer to your question! so basically i think you should introduce yourself and see if people reach you if they are interested!
