Just updated my brakes in Monday. Very simple once you know about those pin caps.
Nice. I did mine last week with it raining in California. I got EBC Brakes FA228HH and they're a huge improvement. Great video.
I got my Rebel at about the same time as you. I have needed to do all the same work to it as you. Your vids have been a massive help. I too noticed the front pads very low so that is my next job . The only extra thing I have done is replace the fuel tank with a new Chinese replica . Mine was rusty inside with standing idle for years. Best wishes from the UK .
Thanks! Glad you have been enjoying the videos. I have one more big video to do on this one. It had 13k miles on it and I don't know when the oil screen was checked, if ever. Also the previous owner complained that the clutch was slipping. So, I am going to combine oil change, screen cleaning and clutch replacement, since they are both in the same compartment. Hopefully doing the work this weekend, but it will be a few weeks until the video is posted. I am working about 3 or 4 videos ahead. Best of luck to you with your Rebel!
@@TheFixitShedThat's great . I want to also clean the oil screen on mine . I will be really interested to see your video and get the information I need from it . I am really glad I found your channel . Enjoy riding that bike as much as I enjoy riding mine ..
Very informative. I've had my Rebel for just over a month. I'm just getting back into riding after over 40 years - an accident that wasn't my fault! For mem the Rebel seems like the perfect way to go...
Sorry to hear about your accident. It depends what you want to get out of it. I got mine as a commuter bike to save gas. It does everything I need it to, so it is perfect for me as well. They are tons of fun! Take care.
