Albert Hash was an old-time fiddle player and luthier from the Whitetop Mountain area of Grayson County,VA. His primary influences on the fiddle were Corbett Stamper, G.B. Grayson, and his uncle George Finley. Albert began playing at a very early age and founded the Whitetop Mountain Band which continues to the present day. Thank you for posting this video. I was surprised to see footage of Albert Hash as he has been dead for several years now. Glad to see someone was wise enough to get him playing the fiddle. I know he has segments on Roy's Folks out of Greensboro, NC, television station, as well.
