I agree, rail is the future of transit
vsry creative and innovative
It's quite hilarious when designers thinks that putting a few solar panels will make it self powered and sustainable
Those are clearly conceots
It's concept 😅... It's basically an idea, plan or to tell the intention of the company to bring investors... Never take concept seriously..
After a few years you will read your comment and laugh at yourself :)

Your laughing already :)
Those first 2 are literally just: ''I don't care were the plebs who take public transit go, just as long as they don't get in the way of my car.'' That mentality is why cities without proper alternatives to driving everywhere have HORRIBLE traffic.
Trains are a way better solution

When we talk about the future, we forget the past. In 1900, the "self-moving sidewalk" was shown at the World Exhibition in Paris. But, due to the complexity of the design, it was dismantled. We managed to improve it and put it back into operation. Now it is strictly ring-shaped. Interested in the application- contact.
There's a similar issue with self driving cars. So imagine trains but theres a billion moving parts
You forgot #0, which costs very litte, uses no electricity, is good for your health: better infrastructure for bicycles. That is the best way for us to the future!
I agree, we missed it. If we add electric bicycles, or electric scooters, we get a completely worthy transport of the future.
@@TopBoxy and maglev it can go at 600 kph and acualy exists unlike hyperloop
@@TopBoxy and don't forget electric trains!
@@TopBoxy not even electric, to be honest a penny farthing is more practical than any of these concepts (except the boat, I could see that one being used)
More public transit, because a long train can take like.... more than 100 cars off the road.
将来実用化されるかはともかく200年後くらいにはこんな感じの乗り物で溢れていると想像すると楽しい
One of the characteristics of a safe, integrated, comprehensive & sustainable urban transit system (that includes walkability & alternative transport such as bikes & e-vehicles) is whether it's accessible & affordable for everyone - not just the wealthy few - including low-income earners, children, women & the elderly. Cities are for everyone, not merely the privileged elites (although the wealthy like to think to think they own their cities). As urbanisation increases significantly over the next few decades, current urban transit systems will also need to be scalable, connecting all parts of the city with each other. Modern transit systems must also not potentially bankrupt cities. Curitiba (Brazil) has an excellent public transit system that easily rivals that of London at a fraction of the cost. Curitiba's trash swop scheme provides free bus passes thereby subsidizing urban transit for low-income earners.
A sustainable urban transport system must be diverse and interchangeable. These are variants of what new can be brought into existing networks.
Free bus passes? What’s next, paying their rent too? Jesus Christ.

The SkyWay/SkyPods are my favorite.

I guess I like the sky pod concept because it can avoid collisions with other vehicles
the first one is just oddly terrifying

This is the Future you Can Take
This Highway Bus All The Way To Texas
It all smacks of that 1970s' naivety that we have learnt not to believe in.
Except for the high tech London Underground, all these technologies will *_still_* be the transportation of the future, no matter how far into the future we go.
The Belarusian version is already close to being used
So is the video with the ropes a concept or they are planning to build a reinvention of monorail held up with ropes?
@@TopBoxy Nobody would be dumb enough to use it
For the New Tube For London it's released in the year 2024 and not 2022. The whole Tube itself was released in the year 1863.
The bus being "tested" in China turned out to be a hoax - it only travelled a short distance before breaking down and had to be abandoned.
thanks for info
It was produced by a private company. The government closed it down after finding out the money being used by extorted. (illegal funds)
The Skyway/skypod from ground view looks like flying cars and train which look very cool
If any of these futuristic solution were going to be implemented we would have had them by now. Freezing temperatures in some areas would need more specialized solutions that this.
that is a logical conclusion to arrive at considering the current state of human advancement. Furthermore, the technology required to take transport to futuristic levels already exists. However, it is also logical to arrive at the conclusion that humanity suffered an excessive amount blood shed/turmoil/tragedy to allocate funds/labor away from security and towards development in science, utility, legislation, and recreation. Meanwhile, freezing temperatures are definitely disadvantageous to systems that operate outside enclosed structures. In other words, climates that impose unfavorable conditions upon mechanical systems must be averted with either fortification or insulation. Nonetheless, such solutions are within humanities technological reach
Not necessarily right now because remember how long phones have came first back in the 1900s they invented the telephone pole where u had to put your change then they made house phones then they created the first phone and then it evolved from there
It's not just the freezing temperatures. It's more like the fact that this is just dumb shit and trains do it better
When you visit Hanoi, you can realize motorcycles can transport crazy number of populations in narrow roads.
Most of these could very easily be replaced by a regular train.
And some of these can replace a regular train )
@@TopBoxy no they can’t
@@TopBoxy all of these except for the London tube are Gadget bahns. They’re presented as being super futuristic transport technology when in reality, a train would do much better.
This is what the year 2200, 2500 and 3000 is probably going to be like. But most of it is just a dream.
Let's dream and wait :)
I think we're still going to be using streetcars on rusty rails in 3000. It's much more likely that cars, including self driving ones, are completely phased out by then

Only the tube in London is realistic because the Tube already exists

For me I see some problems in Design 1, Design No. 2 Why should I put it on the ground instead of strengthening the fence and put it on it instead it be something like a train and there is an escalator instead of a slide or stations and an electric walkway and this design Electrician and I think we can do that.
As for Project 3, it is good, but I think that if it is connected to the skyscrapers, it will be more civil, and it is possible to build skyscrapers that allow the passage of such a project and it will be easier. As for Project 4,5, I think it's good. As for the 6th project, some problems must be solved, such as maintenance. If something is broken, I think it is under development and solutions can be found. As for Project 6, I think it's a little complicated. It could be simpler than that. I think Project 8 is ideal, but such a design can be made, but in the form of a strong magnet, for example, and anything that blocks the road is transferred, for example, and is controlled electronically or personall Like a giant drone. Project 9 must have strong safety means. Project 10 I think it is one of the best things that I have seen and it has already been put into Tesla's self-driving, but it is not completely done. For example, if humans use the word self-driving completely, it will be much better and will significantly reduce accidents, because there will be no human intervention like someone drunk or something like that, and it will be faster And also luxury. It is also possible to put a wireless charger in the parking areas and it will be much better. I wish I could see this and do such projects myself.
Thanks for the extended comment. We are also waiting for the correction of shortcomings in technologies and their implementation in life :)

We have 'the future of transportation' in Munich, it's called 'public transportation' and consists of GETTING AS MANY CARS AS POSSIBLE OF THE ROAD!
Streettrains, called Tram, a working Bussystem, rent a bikes, Subway and S-Train, called S-Bahn is what never made me thought of a drivers licence. Yes it has it's moments, but most of it existed for almost 60 years.
The whole 'let's have a future bus driving over the cars' is what is wrong about this video, the flying cars idea is simply too dangerous and again, one person per vehicle is stupid. The only thing that works is the autonomous delivery drone car and maybe the small bus idea
Yes ! Someone who finally understand that we dont need new futuristic tehnologies , but we need to improve the old tehnologies that we already had and have like the new london tube
Some people value their privacy and love driving their cars. Not everyone wants to be on a smelly bus like you. We value our freedom and independence 🚗
Flying cars is the same danger as driving on a road. There is bound to be some dummies who dont know how to fly it yet and crash there will be deaths

2:26 The hyroscopic transport hits a car and inflates a airbag where its not required 😂. Future is so bright
As a planner, I can say only one of these solutions would work: London Tube. The rest would be pretty expensive, plus if you're flying at a height below an airplane, you risk disrupting bird migration patterns. Please, please study up on planning theory before you put forward stupid stuff like this. Here are the real solutions: ridesharing, as a majority of people drive alone (would also solve gas crisis); creating bikable cities, as bikes take up far less space than cars and enable us to get more from our roads (would ALSO solve gas crisis); improving metro systems and capacity as to maximize the amount of people who can ride it (would also . . . you know what I'm going to say); Put bus exclusive lanes on busy roads, as to incentivize public transit over driving, which would help ease congestion; etc.
Electric aviation will also work and save from traffic jams, check out EVTOL video czcams.com/video/Ryy-7tcZqC8/video.html And, by the way, the metro is several times more expensive than the suspended train
@@TopBoxy a metro has also several (to put it lightly) times more capacity and is cheaper to maintain in the long run because of the use of conventional tech and not some exclusive complicated proprietary solutions.
half of thees have the capasety of somthing like 3 passengers
So we have:
-bus with a really dumb shape that can be easily knocked over
-the straddling bus that can't adapt to different road widths
-monorail but with less capacity
-electric speedboat with heavy batteries (because 1kg of fossil fuel = more than 10kg battery) making it harder to float
-a metro-line (the best one on this list by a landslide)
-maglev but with less capacity, and in a vacuum chamber.... it's still slower than airplanes
-buses but with less capacity
-flying taxi with "mood detection"
-driving assist (they legally can't call it self driving) that shuts down right before crashing so that Tesla can blame the driver when accidents happen.
Welcome to the future )
Wooow awesome but I like the sky pod it’s my favourite one because it is like a cable car
there is a clear and obvious future for urban transport. these won't be it, except for theme parks and tourist attractions.

the gondola has a good shot, but not good in strong winds
London Tube improvements will come about but might be later than expected thanks to Brexit
You have UltraPRT pods in the thumbnail which are actually in use at Heathrow and will soon be in use at Chengdu Tianfu International Airport but you didn’t include them!
The first two are Hollywood system, good only for movies. Hyperloop can never overcome its low capacity. Platform screen doors are already in wide use.

Come on Louisiana, get with it! Let's go, now!
#1 I could see in Dubai, they create some crazy AMAZING SHIT where money is no object!
And where human rigths don´t matter!
human rights are old news, it's about expansion and development. the universe is too mindblowingly massive to prioritize the comfort and preference of those that can't see past the speck of dust they inhabit. just kidding. Dubai is actually among a group of prime candidates for embarking on the next stage of road transport, primarily because of its' ties with deep pockets and access to cheap labor
To be honest it looks really dangerous.
@@giovannevaldez “access to cheap labour”? Or another way to put it “willingness to exploit foreign workers”
But the matter of physics trounces all beliefs. That first one would be redundant
That first one shows a complete lack of understanding reality. Like all those cars aren't going to freak out and do something that the 'pod' doesn't expect. They crash when an *airplane* goes by these days - imagine when I driver fears getting stomped by a leg coming down or crashes into a leg using the tried-and-true "I didn't see it" excuse. And, of course, NONE of those cars will be straddling or skirting the guide rails.. And going 35MPH in between beach-goers? (No, the sand will never get in there). #2 was already shown to be someone trying to defraud the Chinese government out of money... This might work on alien roads but not with humans. Another thing being "tested in Belarus since 2018? Hell, monorails have been around for 125 years and they're still a niche item despite their advantages.

'cars' will run along side buildings like sidewalks, at every level between 2nd flr and the nose bleeds. they won't fly, but like gondolas they'll run on tracks. no trains, no buses, just pods, because people really don't like being near other people, hence the automobile craze
