- How to switch out the Paola Reina Doll body to an articulated one! Super easy!!! For anyone interested in getting this particular body in the U.S. just got to eBay, and in the search bar, type in, articulated Paola Reina body, and it will pop up. I tried to paste the web address but it was waaayyyyyy too long. I did this today with my PR girl and this very same body, my dolls head is a little wobbly though, did you find this? In the end I used a bit of hot glue around the joint and it has solved the problem but I was just curious as I've not seen anyone mention this wobble before.
Hi Sharon! I’ve switched out 3 dolls with this exact body that I’m showing but never had any wobble. They are all perfect... That’s awesome that you were able to fix it though, sounds like something I would have done! Happy Thursday!🦋🌹💖
Hi Britiny :) You mentioned there are two different articulated bodies that can be put on these dolls. What brands were they and where can we find them?
Hi Lesley, the vinyl articulated body, is really nice and not a bad price, you have to order on Instagram from # Kokobini you just sent them a private message and they will send you their colors to choose and give you the prices. The plastic body I just ordered on eBay. I typed in articulated Paola Reina body and the plastic ones will pop up! Hope that helps!
Have you ever tried to swap the heads of any of the other 14-inch dolls? with this body?
Hi Kristen, no I haven’t but I bet you could as long as the neck mechanism was similar. Even if it wasn’t the exact same you could always modify it. Happy Monday!💜🦋💜🦋💜
You mentioned that your doll was not full set?? I have one that's had a professional face up?? Will this harm that at all?? I also have another with an articulated body I don't care for.. But her head has quite a wobble so I think it must be mounted differently.. Any ideas on that one??
Hi Amy, no, replacing the body on the one with the faceup wouldn’t harm her faceup…as far as the one with the wobble head, she would probably need her body replaced with an articulated body made for Paula Reina Dolls… if the body she’s on is a Paula Reina doll body, then I would remove the head (after heating up the vinyl with a hairdryer first) and see what the problem is… happy doll fixing! 💖🦋💖
