Happy Thanksgiving Pilot Ryan!
Thanks! Have a good one yourself
Let's go!!!!! Can't wait for a bigger one!!!
nice looks almost like a umx tomcat?
Maybe a Christmas gift if I am a good boy
EVEN IF YOUR'E BAD LIKE MAVERICK!😎👍
I think you’ve been a good boy for waiting 11 months, 20 days for this thing to FINALLY be in stock!
It looks very nice.
It is!
Ryan do spectrum have a pre programmed set up on the NX SIR. Could save time?
After the 3.08 update, yes! It is in the templates
@@old-rcplane-phart THANKYOU SIR 👍🏼
Great breakdown of the flight modes Ryan! Thanks for always bringing us great content.
Thanks Eddie
Looking forward to seeing this fly!
Really great walk through my friend. Im sure it will be a fun machine for the umx and Tomcat lovers.
I think so too!
Ryan great walk through of the three flight modes. The F14 looks like it could be a lot of fun zoom zoom Jeff in LA USA
Nice!
Man. Coolest UMX EDF i seen yet. 👍👍😎
Pretty slick
Good job Ryan ✔
Thanks Phillip
Will stay with my Freewing twin 80 Tomcat. A smaller one might be nice but should have retracts for that price
Impossible to have retracts at this size/scale!
Not true. I bet u I could install working retracts for cheap that would look good. Send me one and I can show u how to do it. I see the possible in impossible.
@@kboruss000 Buy one, prove it, and we'll send you two more!
Ok. Challenge accepted. When I prove it, I will keep one for myself and donate the other to charity.
Following up on this since it's 8months later.
No Way!!! It arrived!
Wow brother this is sick!!!!👍👍👍😎👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Now I really thinking to go back with Eflite!
As always your on it
I so want to get one
Absolutely awesome, but m gonna wait for the 70mm version which I’m sure will be released soon after they see the success with this one.
Sorry, we don't have any plans for a 70mm version!
I forgot I had this on pre order and it got shipped out, and delivered yesterday, but I didn’t have spektrum. Overall, a great finish on the bird. I get the price with the tech involved so no hate there. Just didn’t have the means to fly it. Cheers and looks forward to the video. Happy thanksgiving!
Looks kill! I think they missed the sweet spot on the price point though. This should be around the $229 mark. If it had retracts then I would be happy to pay $300.
For sure. I pre ordred at release and after months of thinking about it I canceled. $300 just seemed to steep.
Flight coming soon?
Hey Ryan, When you flight test it, give us a look at how quickly it can get off the ground in high rates. All the current videos on this bird shows it takes 200+ feet to get it off the ground. How much runway does it really take?
I will thanks
As cool as this guy is, Flitetest just came out with their Master Series F14 with 72inch wingspan and twin 70s. And having flown a prototype, that’s the F14 for me!
Please record a radio setup video. I have a DX6.
I have an nx6 and I’m trying to import template for 50mm habu as , sts 1.5 apprentice and the new f-14 Tomcat how do I connect it to each plane with safe
I bought one. After the first flight the left wing popped loose. I reconnected it and tried to fly again and the right wing disconnected also. Can’t keep them connected now.
Do you need to program a dsmx transmitter
Man you,d think that Horizon woulda dressed that thing up alittle better awful bland looking jet imo
How so? The scheme is scale: "This E-flite model is based on the F-14D Super Tomcat variant and the factory-applied finish pays homage to Strike Fighter Squadron 2 (VFA-2), also known as the famous "Bounty Hunters"."
do you have to buy the controller and receiver that are sold on their website or can you use your own? I would like to buy it, i am just not sure if my DTXMX Flysky FS-i6X 6CH controller and receiver will work with it?
I am not sure if you have to buy a controller/transpimmter sepaprately or one comes with it, but I find the e-flite controllers very expenseive.
What kind of receiver do you need for the radio? Or does it need one?
BNF comes with receiver
Thank you!
Where to buy
Online, link is in the video description
i don t like how everythig has to be painted styrofoam of some sorts ... can t they wrap it with thick aluminum foil at least ... i saw someone making whole little truck bodys with that on a small 1/24 scale car cage frame .... it sure looked convincing
Nice Ryan, I am just not interested at all in this one. Have a great Thanksgiving 😎
Why is it still processing 😩😩
I just got it done, pulled an all nighter
Thanks for all you do for us and the hobby!
Where is the flight video?
More audio more volume. Your flight videos were way better.
this jet around 120 is max because this jet dont have ailerons good jet for kid to fly 300 that way too much also this jet make out the foam not cool
$300 is a bit much, (IMHO) for a big umx with no ailerons. IF it had ailerons, I'd have no problem giving $400+
But the full-scale doesn't have ailerons and uses tailerons just like this model does...perhaps you weren't aware of that? ;)
Not to mention the wings are too thin at this size/scale for any wing-mounted control surfaces...plus they're not necessary!
@@HorizonHobbyProducts I will agree with you on the not needed ailerons, but the statement on the wings are too thin for controls is false, UMX servos just like the tailerons and All the UMX planes with them.😊
