Feathering the nest! I have always found that no matter how many outlets we put in, we always needed more later on. ( but that was just us.) You made it look easy! 👏

I enjoyed your Airstream travel videos but your “homestead “ videos are cool too!😊

I hate to bust the bubble here and I'll admit I haven't been keeping up with you since you had the sheds installed, BUT I see at a minimum 4 code violations here. You would not pass on the putting the wires behind the rafters. They should be through the rafters of wall studs. This is a safety issue due to lack of wire protection from outside nailing, even if you never intend to nail anything else out there. You would not pass due to lack of nailing plates. Every time you drill a hole through a stud or rafter you must put a piece of metal on the stud so that a nail or screw (think drywall or paneling) doesn't penetrate through the hole and the wire and cause a short or fire or worse. Another fail point is lack of staples. All wiring running parallel to studs/joists/rafters must be secured every 4 feet and within 6" of the outlet boxes with insulated staples. On the back of the plugs (outlets) you were using there should have been a strip gauge as to how much bare wire should be showing. You left WAY too much wire. Probably 1/2" to 5/8" is about right. This may have passed but shows a lack of knowledge of the code. Another huge fail point was the ground wire termination at each outlet. A single short (6") piece of bare wire should have been wrapped around the green ground terminal. This is called a shepherd's hook...short end on the right. The other end is then joined to the other two ground wires with a wire nut or a Wago lever push connector. These are all codes to keep you safe and for any owner down the line. Also, not sure how your electrician is gonna go for your set-up as far as how you are going to get cable into the gym. His license is on the line here. Like I said, I hate to be a killjoy here, but some time on CZcams watching a few good electricians do their thing would benefit you both. Also please DON'T refer to the wires as you have. Black is "hot", white is "neutral" and bare or green is "ground". Even if this is only a "this is how I did it" video, you gotta use the right terminology. One more thing... just use a razor knife to slit the yellow jacket lengthwise, then snip off (or cut) the jacket at the top. It's way quicker and safer than your method and less likely to nick any wire insulation. Keep on doing what you're doing, but just a little better.

Enjoyed the video. Keep up the good work. Exercise pays off in the long run, along with proper diet. I have neither.

I'm really impressed by your video editing of removing the insulating jacket the wires. You should really do some Premiere Pro tutorials
Oh, will you address the 'ground' position on the receptacles?

I know you said it wasn't a DIY see how to do it the correct way but you just ran that wire right next to the roof sheathing what are you going to do when you have to reroof the roof and somebody drives a nail straight down there and into the wire and shorts it out how are you going to find that That's the whole point of running wires through the wall in a logical location which is usually by code I think maybe you should have got a book. Als o don't bury a box in the wall you'll forget where it's at or later on when you sell the house you know when you get really old nobody's going to know where that box is hidden also you're supposed to staple your wire 6 in from the box so it can't be pulled back hey other than doing it pretty much the way anybody would do it that doesn't know how have a great day not trying to be a troll but doing it the right way the way I do it everyday saves you time and money. Also once again do you need to have a breaker panel inside that building because it is an outbuilding by code because if you need to pull a permit and the guys kind of ornery he may start looking at things and not allow you to have a permit until other things are brought up to code I've seen it happen oh let's just look up the pool right here $500 later with fine and permits You're allowed to do other electrical you wanted to do in the first place. 😇👍🤔🚒

Appreciate that, Bub! We are going to fix a couple of things thanks to your suggestions.
