Yep, the tax status funds their shenanigans. When it goes, it will start to tumble. Then all the regular old members will find that the Big Whigs own property around the world and they do not.

Scientology must be loving what Mike and Leah are doing. They are helping Scientology disgrace the biggest CZcamsr who has gathered the most support to end Scientology.
A-a-ron hasn't been "disgraced" at all, thankfully. Instead, those AF clowns have disgraced themselves! There actually more nasty stunts they pulled, behind the scenes, via really awful emails, but A-a-ron isn't stooping to release them. Apparently, they're bad enough it MIGHT destroy them along with the Aftermath Foundation, so he won't do it.
That tells me all I need to know, about A-a-ron...and them!

Got the shoe on the other foot. The AF board members have publicly disgraced themselves by their ugly behavior. A-a-ron couldn't care less *what* Scientology thinks, or likes. It won't do them one bit of good.
Well no doubt they're trying but all they're doing is exposing themselves as being if not directly in Scientology, certainly acting like an agent of Scientology.

It seems like yesterday that Aaron was staying at Leah's place, and she was making panckes for him!
I praise Aaron for his laser focus-The goal is dismantling the cult. Anything else is a distraction, and petty.
It seems to me that the former Scientologists that had positions of power still wants to have that kind of power or feel superior in some way. They seem so proud of their former positions.
I also find it weird that they are so dissmissive of the protesters. I wonder if they feel that they need to diminish what they have no power ower.

D@mned good observation. Very likely. It wasn't their idea, no control...sounds about right.
To understand a situation, I ask myself, "Where's the lie?" Then, I go looking for that lie's source. It is generally to be found with the person or group trying to control the narrative, and shut everyone else up who disagrees with/questions their actions. Happens in Jr. High, High School, work, family,...pretty much anywhere.
Leah and Mike were my heroes😢 I can't get my head around them shutting out Aaron. If they all worked together to get tax status revoked, it would be done quickly. They are forgetting who the true enemy is.
You should know that it would/could never happen quickly if ever in getting the CoS tax exemption removed. It would take a literal miracle for it to be voted on within Congress and the Senate. (Both would have to pass it after many days or weeks of hearings) Then, there would have to be an overwhelming YEA vote by them to even pass it. That can be a really long process. Reaching out to the IRS over the CoS wouldn't make any difference as that sort of decision-making is totally out of their hands for removing any tax exemptions from any churches. Also, all the other religions would come together to show support on
Scientology's behalf, jusy as many other churches came forward to lend their support to the cult during the Masterson trial, because their belief is that if that could happen with Scientology, they know it could happen to them and they won't stand for that!
So it just won't ever likely happen, sadly.
Did you know that there are religious lobbyists (reps of 5 major religions) who live in D.C. whose jobs it is to pay & sway the Senators and congressional leaders into voting for their groups/organisations when the need arises?
Mike was never my "Hero", but I did like him okay, but only from what I could observe. He has shutters in his eyes...always closed, so I felt a bit uneasy about him...just didn't have a "reason" for it. I was definitely blown away by his subsequent behavior. Such outright betrayal took my breath away in its viciousness.
They were not my hero’s, but I appreciate their work, but now I’m not so sure what’s happening with them.

The Mike Rinder Foundation is dead to me because of their activities against AAron, Mirriam, Mike Brown and Rabbit (plus the antipathy towards the 2nd gen and protesters). The behaviour of Rinder, the Headleys, Mat Pesch, Stefani the Grinch, and now Leah, is reprehensible. A lot of it is down to Rinder's ego, but not all of it.

I love hearing Jay talk to people. He speaks with such conviction, but even with his great voice he’s gentle with his words. Love it. These kids are restoring some of my faith in the humanity. The kids that do this day in and day out will be great leaders and caring citizens of the world

The reasons *not* to just post the entire thumb drive online are because it’d basically be accusing people of crimes, with no legal proof. It would also open up the victims to bad memories, as well as pain & possible shame as everyone they know finds out about the acts perpetrated against them.
I’m not sure of the best way to handle it all. Maybe first contact the victim, then if the victim approves, approach law enforcement alongside them with the proof on the thumb drive? Unfortunately most crimes are past the statute of limitations, which I can guess was the reason Mike held onto the thumb drive for years without mentioning it. When he did finally share it, it was with Marc Headley, to do stupid Spy Files stories & he also gave a copy to Leah. The fact he didn’t even offer a copy to Aaron tells me Mike was likely worried that Aaron would want to do something more significant than publish stories about Tom Cruise…
ETA: The difference with the Brian Kent thing is that Mike Rinder KNEW he’d had a sexual relationship with one of the people he had referred to Brian & he still referred more clients after hearing about the problems. I think there’s a much higher chance MR is compromised by Scientology than Brian Kent. Kent is just a typical everyday creep.
The most important thing is that the truth comes out. The secrets and lies and deception and manipulation is disgusting. I'm so glad that the truth is coming out as difficult as it is to hear. This isn't about making people feel comfortable or to protect others that are part of the deception. It's not drama it's uncovering what's been hidden

Natalie, I really admire the way that no matter how volatile the subject you always have a calm reasonable and fair outlook on things. I appreciate that very much. I have been very upset and disappointed in how things have come down but, I do like to avoid the drama because I personally don't have the ability to not personalize things and I want to be happy, that is how I try to stay focused. I love to watch you, both for the news wraps ups and for the calm presence, Love you and My Tony! Also, Leah brought MR into the case, she used him and his being harassed in her legal filings so I am not sure he is totally not related to her case. That is what I heard about it.
Yes, I know there were videos about Mike and Clair testifying for her case. I thought Aaron did one about it but maybe not.

Thank you Natalie. I too was very disturbed by the Elephant in the Room video. I couldn't understand why Claire & Leah refused to say anything about the AMF minions' attacks. It all makes sense now. I did have a horrifying thought though. What if sciento's attorney subpoena Aaron to testify about Leah's attempts at fair gaming him? Wouldn't that render her law suit moot?
Unfortunately, that would be FAFO for Leah if that unlikely event were to occur.
Legally, her being a dick to A-A-Ron doesn't pertain to Scientology being a dick to her. It would only matter if Aaron was to sue Leah.
Leah NEEDS the Headleys and Rinder’s testimony at her lawsuit. The protesters, Gems and Aaron are bringing attention that just might expose the plaintiff’s dirty hands. Aaron does a great job with his channel. Other SPTV people tend to be less clear, talking about "issues" without saying what issues or "questions" without specifying which questions, and they dive into the details without a clear introductory recap/overview.

This 2 yr window closing without more than the 1 case coming before the court seems like something those litigants could be able to reopen due to this Child USA/Brian Kent madness coming to light. I would love for any of you to be able to still get your cases to the courts dispite the pushback from Scientology, their agents, their unsuspecting supporters... Etc

They are wanting names of people that they can try to suck into their death cult. I would be really pissed if someone I vaguely knew put my name down.
Replay crew - iMHO as a never-in, I/we have absolutely no right to attack people who have lived in the cult. It’s one thing for 2 people who were in Scientology to disagree with each other, but for me to attack any one of you former members is unconscionable. To do it AS a member of a board that is supposed to help any former member with whatever they might need in getting out is makes me think the AMF added never ins to their board solely to take over the attacks. Aaron also mentioned that Jane Doe #3 was also being attacked. That’s just disgusting.
I also feel that Leah saying she had no stake in the child SA issue was a slap in the face to every single victim of Scientology child SA who appeared on their show. They did it at great personal risk knowing what they were in for in terms of Scientology fair gaming them and for no $. Aaron had made this point - Leah & Mike DID profit & won Emmys from the show and they would not have had a show for 3 seasons if not for every single one of the former members that appeared on the show.
Natalie, because of my ADHD I oversleep because I don't have the right medication, so I miss your lives, but I wanted to tell you thank you for showing these people from other countries protesting Scientology The woman from Denmark was amazing. I love the question she asked. I haven't talked to any active scientologists. I don't know what to say it's still a sticky situation. But the Denmark woman brought up SPTV and how many channels are actively handing out the facts stuff you can verify for yourself. I make a point of bringing up you and Aaron I never miss or try not to and then I just bring up sptv and how many channels there are that are too numerous to mention each in each and every one of them so for people to check them out for yourself and just see what it tells you. So these people have nothing to gain from doing this they're doing it because they've been there, and they're trying to help people. love you and My Tony, and thank you always.❤

I think it’s crazy Leah said “baby, I don’t have a horse in that race”. I believe she said it just like that because she’s always calling everyone baby so it sounds like something she’d say. I also believe it because she’s never spoken out about how children are treated in Scientology besides when she filmed her show. Seems like her and Mike are only interested when they can make money. I expected that of Mike cuz I always got off vibes about him, but I thought Leah was different. I did start becoming suspicious of her recently because she hasn’t spoken out in support of Aaron’s foundation, the protestors, and she hasn’t condemned what Mike and those other people are doing to Aaron and everyone else. As a fan of Leah it’s extremely disappointing. I’m not surprised though. She was willing to throw away her good reputation for Mike and I just don’t understand why.

It’s odd. I watch these people that left Scientology but sometimes it seems Scientology didn’t leave them. They all seem to have a steely gaze that Hubbard talked about so much. I think they were trained to be assholes. They were trained to be skeptical of others. I think the breakdown was just going to happen.
When was the last time we heard any of these channels talk about how they helped someone escape or supported leaving cos. Too much drama and gossip ....i think i am signing off these channels for awhile until they all re-focus

There is complexity here. Lionizing or villianizing anyone in totality never gets us to the truth... or to an ability to work together. Of course there was a hierarchy of sorts, but that is the case within most groups of people. There seemed to have been real reasons why Aaron was removed from the board. I've served on boards and people were removed or asked to leave. And Aaron had big feelings about it...he has big feelings. And the reaction of the Aftermath... could have been better handled. And Aaron... so hurt and bit back big time. And then came "the rest". And I have just pretty much left the conversation...because it's no longer a conversation.

5:29 last week I was in San Diego for work. I carved out some time to go into the Scientology building and interact with them and ask questions. It was my version of low-key protesting. I got some zingers in and now I can put a face to the disgusting videos. I watched while I was there.
It's tricky for me.. as I have had interactions with mike rinder through email and he was always very nice with me so I don't want to say anything negative about him. I have also had messages with Aaron a couple of times and he was also very nice so I'm kinda on the fence... I know it's too late but I wish they could have settled their differences.. they did have a very common goal now its berm sidetracked
