- I've been thinking about cleaning my gouache palette for a while. I thought it would be fun to share this with you. Enjoy watching! 🎨

when you use that paint mixer it s fine when i use it i have a galaxy on my ceiling and walls

here are some tips: make sure the paint isnt too watery and try to put the paint mixer farther down in the little container
Put it in the paint before you turn it on maybe 🤷♀️🤷♀️

That was a soothing experience to watching you clean your Himi gouache palette. I love cleaning and find it so relaxing. Making order from chaos makes me happy. I have a set exactly like yours, a 24 set in a pale green box, and although I've had them for nearly 3 months now, they are not drying out barely at all. I live in the UK where it's often cold and wet and I'm sure that helps keep the paints moist, but I found out from another youtuber, who's name I can't recall that if you buy an A4 sized plastic wallet, and zip up the palette inside it when you aren't using it, and spray it once a month, it doesn't dry out barely at all. I only give it two squirts of the water, and that is all. But so far it's working really well. I hope that helps you. God bless you and your loved ones.

I always thought that cleaning watercolour kits is a waste of paint but I guess it's necessary. Just recently I was able to clean my himi kit. Not only it's good-looking as before, it helps me get the right colours without accidentally picking up unwanted ones that dried up at the sides.

Thank you for posting this, I've been trying to find information on how to care for Himi gouache so I have an idea before I purchase any, but I never found anything solid. So my question to you, since you have kept yours in fantastic condition for so many videos now, is how often do you need to do this with them and how often do you need to spray them between uses?
If the cover of your paints is open, you should spray water every 1 hour. Do this as long as the lid is open. Do not let the top of your paint dry. I did the cleaning process for the first time. I bought the paint four months ago.

You can actually get refills, if you google miya gouache refill it should come up. The refills look like they’re in a kid’s yogurt pouch lol

Hi! Do you have any tips as to how to get the paint off the spatula and mixer so it won’t go to waste?
Does adding water into the buckets do change the opacity of the colours longterm.or does it evaporate and are like before? (Maybe it's a dumb question, sorry)

After how long did your paints dry out after buying them anew? Love your videos btw ❤
I’ve had mine for a little over a year and they haven’t dried out yet! Just the light pink and an olive green have started to get a little firmer. Can be fixed fast though! All you have to do to keep them from drying out is: Spray after use, spray while using, and spray every couple days. Just spray with a clean bottle so it doesn’t mold!
That was very relaxing and I don't know why. But thanks! Do you find you use all of those colors? I bought the smallest set they make (18) and I mostly use the greens, blues, and one of the reds. (And the white. SO much white.)
There are colors that I don't use, yes, but I'm sure they will be needed.

I imagine that putting a slightly damp paper towel over the paints inside the case would help keep them hydrated for longer as well.
You should be careful with that as it can create the perfect environment for mould
You cannot prevent drying as long as the lid is open.
