I too did my PreDegree from here (73-75) Maths, Physics, Chemistry grp. Those days it was a mens only college, it was converted to a Co ed college from academic year 75-76.
By the way CMI is not a church, it is Congregation of Mary Immaculate, a group of Catholic priests dedicated to the cause of education. They have marvellous instituirions in their fold like Raajagiri Institutions, Christ University, Amala Medical College, Christ College and so on. The moment you enter a CMI institution, you can immediately make out the difference.
It is not Congregation of Mary Immaculate, but
Carmelites of Mary Immaculate.
