I love the patina on this If this were mine I'd fix the mandatory rust spots swap in a 454 with a Munchie 4 speed redo the interior and keep the rest exactly as is
I have a 1968 El Camino that came with factory air & side mirror... that particular one didn't come with factory air, but it was an option in 1968... that ol dude is full of 💩... That thing is repairable, but it's gonna take a lot of repair work to get it where it needs to be... but mine will need it too... won't be long...🖖🏿😎👍🏿
My friend has a 68 it's black on black his dad owned it before he bought it off him when we were teenagers we would steal it and go cruising around it had a hopped up 454 in it at the time and the thing was fast now he owns it lot's of good memories in that car as a teen lol!

Disagree, .....those areas of rust can be taken care of,......major selling point of this car is the chrome trim, ....it's all there,....those pieces cost a small fortune
Wrong 307 is not the same as a 305 , 307 is a 283 block 3.92 bore with a 3.25 stroke 327 crank , a 305 3.75 bore 3.48 stroke bother engines are boat anchors

Chrome is outstanding, .....body is not a problem, worth fixing it 4r the right price. ...
