Peace and blessings to all, i have a very sincere question, when the quran was beginning revealed and Muhammad had to get confirmation from the people of the book as to the things were true, why were the feast days of the children of Israel changed in Quran? The feast day that was to be commemorated for all times was the Passover, which Christians have changed to Easter and Muslims have changed to Hajj or pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia or mecca, when the original place was Jerusalem? I'm honestly confused concerning this topic because if one reads the scriptures Jerusalem and the Passover was to be commemorated and the place of celebration. Thank you dear friend peace

The people of the book are not referring to Christian’s and/or Jews. Al Kitab = the Book, it refers to the Quran
