LSA GripTec Pulley swap

  • In this episode we swap the stock LSA 3 inch upper pulley for a griptec 2.45 inch pulley for more Boost! Also, we upgrade the factory spring style isolator to a solid one. Our Caprice ppv is getting one step closer to completion. Thanks for watching!

    Nothing wrong with the spring loaded isolators per Ed (Chief Designer). You will get gear noise with a solid isolator. One evil or the other.
    I noticed you said it was a new supercharger, but the video showed isolator spring wear on the isolator shaft, which again, is normal. That supercharger was not new.
    Good job on the video as an instructional.

    Did boost district say they were gonna change out the isolator?

      Yeah they ended up sending me the right one no charge , glad I was able to see it before it all went together

    how long does the oil in the back last in

      I’m not sure about that , I’ll have to look it up , I would think it lasts awhile though
