Sounds great, i have an 08 Cr Vic PI with the 93 oct Marty tune, what cam duration and lift would you suggest and would the computer tune need to be adjusted?
I used the stock converter with these cams at first. I had a 3.73. The stock 11.25 inc converter that comes in police interceptors and sport models stalls at 2400 rpm
Every time I try loooking for stuff for the crown Vic they don’t really show anything as far as mods so it’s based of engine right ? Could you tell me what type of cams you used ? I have a 2010 Vic and yours is one the cleanest and baddest specially with that cam sound
APS Autoworks in Shakopee MN. Casey Wittmer tuned it. He tuned a handful of similarly built crown vics here in MN. Casey was tuning them before anyone. He also Tuned for Hi-Tech motorsports here in Elk River MN. Long before Marty at Moe's Speed shop got popular.
Man I'm so screwed lately. I've got a broken wrist. I need to sell this car. I have a bunch of things I need to repair on it before I can even try and list it. I'm so busy taking care of other shit and every one else I dont even have time to work on my own car. I just dont have much free time. At least for the foreseeable future.
@@P71ScrewHead hell no...why would it leak after swapping cams? This car is in really Nice condition. There is nothing wrong with it beside a small coolant leak at the oil filter adapter. Other than that theres just a bunch of small things. Mainly cosmetic. Make no mistake about it, I do not want to sell this. Life's been tough the last few yrs. Forced to get what I can for it...
@@JAMIE_ATKINS oh my bad, don't mean to offend, I recommend getting a loan before selling your car for a low price, better to be in debt but with your car than to have cash for a lil bit then no car after the money's gone.. Anyway, hope your situation improves..
I haven't had it on the dyno since I did the last intake mods. But with a 75mm to and upper plenum with the stock pi intake manifold, it did 281hp and 297tq at the wheels
Original 4.6. Bought I in 2011 as a really nice 2009 cvpi retired from the Minnesota State Patrol with 120k miles. I started by putting a 3.73 rear gear in it. Then long tube headers at the 130,000 mile mark. After that I went a little bit crazy. I paid $7500 for it and intended it to be a reliable daily driver. At this point 2 yrs in it became my fun seasonal ride. Parked away from the salty winters from there I did a cam swap and had it dyno tuned by a very reputable tuner here in MN. Then throughout the yrs have used a handful af different high stall torque converters. Also used 3 different upper plenum/throttle body combos among other things. So right now it sits at 160k miles. Hi-tech stage 2 cams; Edlebrock victor jr. Intake; custom ported Dragon oval plenum matched with a big gt500 twin 60mm throttle body; Steada underdrive pulleys; Long tube headers/2.5 inch x-pipe/magnaflow mufflers and 3 inch tail pipes; 3800-4000 stall Circle d pro 3 multi-disc torque converter; A huge auxiliary trans cooler; rebuilt original 4r75e transmission; rebuilt valve body using a Sonax sure cure kit and J-modded; Rear axle tubes were trued and welded to the differential housing; Motive 4:30 rear gear set with a Detroit Trutrac differential; Custom tubular steel rear control arms; lowered about 2 inches on fresh KYB struts and GT500 rear springs. ADTR's front and rear sway bar kit. Interior is just in extremely good condition. I installed a floor shift from an 05 Mercury Grand Marquis. Added an Innovate wide band guage (with Green digital display to match the factory Ford back lighting; added a "factory match" transmission temp guage made by Auto meter (green backlighting to match) etc
Can we get a 4 hour loop of this for background noise to fall asleep to?

Savage Vic.
Do you know if you can keep that set up if you want to supercharge also? And did check engine come on after?
I know of a guy that did adtr's vortech kit with the same built but with a PI intake instead of the victor jr. I think he used 36lb injectors.
Sounds great!
Which Magnaflow is that?
not sure. they were used from a friends pontiac. they are 2.5 in straight through mufflers. Not magna packs...I hate glass packs
@@JAMIE_ATKINS So they’re an oval case muffler?

How difficult was it to swap cams?
How much hp it’s makeing in what’s the best Race you had and it
Never raced anyone or drag. Before did the Victor Jr intake and the twin 60mm thank upper plennum, it made 281/297 at the wheels
Stock stall converter still ok with stage II cams?

Do you have trick flow heads or the stock heads
Stock unported heads. Stock shortblock too. It only did 281/297 to the wheels
Whats the WHP
What kind of cams did you get I want to do the same to my crown Vic, did you go with bigger injectors?
Mine was a flex fuel model so I had 24lb injectors. They support the power I make
I have so manny questions bro
Hi-tech stage2 234/230 duration .550/.500 and I think lsa was 108 degrees
