I don’t know who this is for, but I hope it will help. I’ve been dealing with depression for 3 1/2 years. The burdens of losing my house, all of my belongings, losing my friends, while dealing with the pressure of school broke me down. I didn’t want to pray. I didn’t want to listen to gospel music. I wanted to cry and shut out the world. Only within the past few months, I started to pray, read my Bible, watch sermons, and listen to gospel because I needed it to feed my spirit. I have to stay constantly in prayer and ask for everything that the Holy Spirit will help me. Every sincere request has been answered. The Holy Spirit is the only thing keeping me sane. My first semester of college, I failed almost every class. This semester, I’m passing every class and doing well. Mind this scripture: “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God” (Philippians 4:6).

I was so anxious about talking to someone the other day. I asked the holy spirit for peace and as soon as I started talking to that person an overwhelming peace flooded my mind and body and I felt as cool as a cucumber! It was truly incredible and the conversation was so simple and easy. Thank you God that you are tangible X

This happened to me also, I was avoiding eye contact with someone I speak to when I go skating for many interactions, he's always kind but that day I was anxious, rushy and he was very quiet. I prayed for the Lord to let me be myself..when I saw him I was able to look at him and talk freely, making jokes about my daughter, he was also laughing and smiling. Other people can feel when we are anxious and stiff. Praise the Lord Jesus for sending us His beautiful Holy Spirit 💖

There was a moment where it wasn’t loading, I had to finish something I was doing before I could continue to wait for it to load. When I got in my car, I started breaking down, balling my eyes out and the moment this started playing he said “all these pressures will be coming but you are not alone.” Thank you Pastor Mike Todd. Your sermones have pushed me through the toughest time in my 24 years of my life. You have helped me get closer to God in a way I could have never imagine. Thank you.

As a believer you're not suppose to have moments of peace you're suppose to live in peace
You can't control what happens around you
And many of you are praying asking why it happened and he says let me help you with it
Your focus is wrong
If you allow God to come into your life. He will give you peace under pressure
The pressure of life cannot be picked up by anyone but the Holy Spirit
You cannot live this life with peace without the Holy Spirit
True peace is knowing that you never have to go through anything alone
The Holy Spirit is waiting for you to ask to come and intervene in your situation
Holy Spirit I need your help in this moment
You need to accept the Holy Spirit being the one who walks with you every day
This is something that will literally save your life "

Temporary escape- things, attitudes, ways of living, material things, meaningless sex, etc that takes away time from being focused on God and His peace. We are all imperfect and sinners, even Pastor Mike likes clothes and shoes, but if it's a replacement for what we should seek from God is when it becomes bad. Some people may listen to this and think he's being extreme but he isn't.

I truly believe this man is anointed; he nails every point and turns over each rock. My realization (more of a reminder) that we are nothing without God. We must love him in order to love ourselves and our neighbors.

Counterfeit peace.....Wow!!! That but home for me. Peace is the calm in the mist of a storm. I now realize how dangerous escapism is dangerous. I’ve been lost in my escape for years because of trauma but now I’m waking up by the grace of our Heavenly Father!
Every time I listen to his sermons I get the shivers because I feel him calling my out so deeply. He is crazy talented and God is using him to bring so many people to him!

Amen I happened to see a snippet of the first sermon randomly on a facebook video it happened to autoplay after another video I was watching that was at 8am while getting ready for work I came to CZcams to listen to the first one in whole and ive started watching all of the relationship goals sermons since getting off work its now 11:44pm and it has definitely changed my views on life and made me look at things ive been doing. I have always believed that nothing happens by chance, alot of what has been spoken about are things that ive needed hear especially being somewhat newly divorced and trying to find my way in my singleness and asking God for direction thank you so much for posting your sermons online.

Pastor Mike, I am sobbing. I can’t find my focus in life and I want nothing more than to fully accept God and Jesus into my heart. But my anxious anxious thoughts, the Devil keeps telling me I’m going to get hurt if I try to devote myself entirely. My anxiety keeps telling me it’s not okay for me to relax at all. So many dark scenarios racing through my mind, I just want to let go and let God but my anxiety has me in so many chains. I will try to keep praying. I am just so scared.
Get in a small group if you can. God has given us community so we can heal together

It's crazy how Jesus is so calm with us because sometimes I really feel like telling ppl off but remember I'm not of the world any more and he showing me how to stay positive under pressure because the ppl around have no clue of what there doing. You don’t know you have faith until it’s tested,
And it’s through this testing that your faith (your blind reliance on God) and your peace (and the rest of the fruits of reliance/compliance on the Spirit) grow.
You grow in strength as sheep by becoming more reliant on your Shepard not by becoming more powerful and self-reliant.
You grow fruit as a result of abiding to the vine.
You're stronger then what I thought.
