yeah remember.skiing with the school early 80's no.carvers then only atomic arc long red sleds. coming in march and booking the advance skis as usually excellent at ski mania. transfers will also be.booked through the app. good work lance
Trips booked for New Year's Eve and early March. Will use the services of Bansko Blog as usual. Lance and Ski Mania are very helpful, and always go above and beyond to accommodate the needs of our group. 🙂
This video worried me a bit - 3 of us in our mid 60's are coming 25th Feb to March 4th - we have all skied for years parallel turns etc - I ordered through the app - advanced skis for us all. Is this going to be suitable for us? We have a private group lesson booked for the 27th which should help. But I'm worried that from your video the skis might be too good for us. Last year (not Ski Mania as we went with Balkan) I upgraded hire skis to Atomic Redster ST skis which were superb - firmer, better for carving, and faster - I think they are slalom skis. So how does that compare with George's Advanced skis?
Hi mate in my opinion you done the right thing if your taking about carving and lessons then you got the right skis and with lance your in good hands have fun mark😁👍
Hi Gary, no need to worry you’ll be absolutely fine. Advanced range enable you to progress nicely with carving technique. What I warn against are folks who are over ambitious and don’t take lessons. When is the opening? I am coming on the 15nth-18nth , i hope there will be snow by them :)
The official opening is Saturday the 17th. If there's enough snow, they may open earlier.

I wear glasses, do I have to get powered ski goggles made before I ski for the first time?
It depends but for first time you should be ok to wear goggles over your glasses.
