- Famous for number one songs like 'End of the Road' and 'I'll Make Love to You', Boyz II Men have been making hits since the early nineties and are now back with a new album. 'Love' is a collection of covers including Take That's 'Back for Good' but performed in their own traditional R&B style. Wanya Morris, Nathan Morris and Shawn Stockman from the group spoke to E24's Tasmin Lucia Khan about the new album on BBC News

Reverb and some other effects. Their harmony and work are evident but the sound engineer is doing some work. That is not a negative comment.

I just think it's great that on the Journey track, Wanya's voice was clearly taking the lead, but on End of the Road, Shawn's voice carried it. They really know their strengths.

They recreated these songs very well for the "Love" album! My favorite song on the album, well, one of them, is "Could It Be I'm Fallling In Love". Love hearing the Spinners singing it, and loved how B2M worked their magic with it. Also, hearing them do their thing here, can't blame anyone for shedding a tear! This was classic Boyz II Men, that classic Boyz II Men sound!

If there was one thing that made them so successful was that The Late Melvin Franklin Of The Temptations told them is to be "very humble" about their success. After seeing all the Drama they went through (Bankruptcy, Drugs, Alcohol, Suicide, and Death) nothing is guaranteed. Nobody at that time knew how big they were going to be. Even today, their Songs are some of the most popular to sing on Audition Shows from The Voice to The X Factor. I still remember when The "Kids" sang "One Sweet Day" on Popstars: The Rivals in 2002. I wish someone would have shown them a Clip of folks doing "Interpretations" of their Songs. They talked about Michael Jackson but the Reporter "forgot" that they were in The Jacksons: An American Dream where they played some local Neighborhood Boys. Michael McCrary is not the only Celebrity who has MS. David L. Lander (Ex-Squiggy) Laverne & Shirley, Jamie Sigler (Ex-Meadow Soprano), Alan Osmond and his Son David but he was able to control it, as well as Teri Garr who was a Dancer in the 1960's (The T.A.M.I. Show), as well as Rachel Miner who played Michelle Bauer #2 on Guiding Light from 1989-1995. Looking back, I would have loved for them to talk to This Generation of Boy Bands/Girl Groups on how to handle their Fame.

They are a "Man" Band. I wonder if Gary Barlow or Robbie Williams heard "Back For Good" by them. They are from Philadelphia, PA., which is next to Chicago, Ill, the State that has strong ties to England. It was home to American Bandstand, and alot of amazing Blue Eyed Soul Singers. Hall & Oates, Karen Young, Len Barry. It's the birthplace of Tammi Terrell & Lisa "Left Eye Lopes" (RIP). Thanks to The Brits, Northern Soul is successful and over the years Groups like The Tavares, and Whispers were legendary not to mention the Song Catalogue of Kenny Gamble/Leon Huff is still popular.
Did you hear them doing their version of Take That's "I Want You Back". So many Artists have used it as a Title. The Jackson Five, N'Sync, and Canadian Singer Sheri Keane. When they talked about Their Distribution with Universal/Decca it's not surprising considering that Universal bought Motown in the 1990's which means that now every Old School Motown Song is released through MCA/Universal. Decca was also The Record Label who turned down The Beatles in 1962 saying that Guitar Groups are out Mr. Epstein according to an Executive. They made up for the loss with The Rolling Stones and also an up and coming singer named Olivia Newton-John.
