This is a stellar conxept with great models and presentation. As it polishes up its gonna turn heads. Great job. Model swaps, torn limbs and thinga like the cage are not the easiest bits of work to add and the love shows here. So much harder and more inpressive to design combos and setups like these than easy button mash beat em ups causw of all the balance work with unblockables, jailing and movemenr vs zoning per matchup. Great work. Not an easy task at all and your shining at it.

I like the old comic book artstyle and the grainy footage. I wish they kept with the cassette aesthetic with the music, it should sound like something in Scooby Doo.

It looks like it could use a little more work in the animation and HUD category. Characters seem a bit too large as well. So maybe some camera work would hrlo. SFX are limited itd seem. Looks great beyond that.
So this fighting game involves characters based on horror themes and some of the stages have a grind house vibe.... gotta say, haven't heard a premise this interesting since Divekick.
I don’t know what it is but I feel that indie fighters aren’t as impressive but that’s not a knock against the devs. They were probably doing their best. But the Doujin fighting scene is awesome however as we get awesome games like Eternal Fighter Zero, Hisoutensoku, Big Bang Beat, Yatagarasu, Hinokakera and such. Can’t wait for Shuzen when that comes out. Hope it gets released on Steam by probably 2027.
I don't know why, but this reminds me of Skullgirls. If Skullgirls ever went 3D, I'd want it to look like this. My only complaint is that this game feels like it's running in slow motion.

i don't like this type of combat system(like MK or street fighter) but i like the idea of playing as monsters and drawing style. it would be better to make tekken combat system and add a lot of monsters from street legends and horrors
I like the vibe, but everything is a little bit too disjointed. Horror can get away with being disjointed because it's main goal is to scare us. Being disjointed can help horror in most cases. But now here. For example, the character you played is a nurse, but she's also a mummy who carries a pipe? Her moves include a giant needle (ok), a gun, hanging on a rusty cage with a wrapped up body inside, summoning a cartoony mole, and summoning a glowing demon. That makes no sense for her character. I see that the developers were trying something different. But they should've stuck with more traditional elements. Like the lucha stuff. I don't even see the lucha influence, unless we're talking about some of the title cards (maybe?).
