Just a note: The "Chinese" in Google Translate is Mandarin, not Cantonese, which is the predominant language in Hong Kong. As a practical matter, enough Hong Kongers in tourist spaces can now understand Mandarin that you can probably get by with Google Translate (or just plain English, bonus points if you use British vocab/spelling), but if you need or want to translate Cantonese, you can use Bing Translator instead. Also, if you do use Google Translate in Hong Kong, use the "Chinese (Traditional)" setting, as opposed to the "Chinese (Simplified) setting. Most writing in Hong Kong, including Hong Kong Disneyland, uses traditional Chinese characters, unlike Shanghai, where simplified Chinese characters are most common.

Along those lines, when I was there they had 3 lines for Jungle Cruise: Mandarin, Cantonese and English. May be different now.

This is so beautiful! I wish we had gotten this instead of that off brand star wars land they built

I think you missed one of my biggest tips from when I went to HKDL - get to the park early. Maybe this has changed, but colleagues of mine in HK told me that people there tend to start their day later. I got there at park opening at 10AM and it was a ghost town. It started getting more crowded about 2PM and was quite busy in the afternoon and evening. Of course this was several years ago and things might have changed.

I was just there on Friday Dec 1st. It has not changed. I purchased the early entry pass and the world of frozen rides were 5 to 10 minutes wait at the very max for the entire hour from 9-10am. the 2 rides eventually got to 50-70 minutes wait time by 11am+

Wow, this is beautiful I wish I could go there but a thirteen hour time change is just hard and wondering parking sliding sleighs looks so fun. Big summer blowout

American Parks hopefully will get something similar with this Magic Kingdom ‘expansion’. HOPEFULLY!

I have to agree, the coaster’s shortness was shocking. It’s like they ran out of money for the remaining 60-70% that was supposed to be there. They also needed to regulate the crowd (timed entry) when I went. It was way too busy in that one area to enjoy anything.

It's a custom Vekoma junior (kiddie) coaster like the Barnstormer at Magic Kingdom, which is 53 seconds long. It's supposed to be quite short, partially in case smaller kids freak out. Chip 'n' Dale's GADGETcoaster at Disneyland and Tokyo Disneyland (Gadget's Go Coaster), another custom Vekoma junior coaster, is 44 seconds long. Kiddie coasters are a thing, a format-they're always super short. It's like going down a slide.

Going to Epcot for the first time in 25 years recently, Frozen Ever After was the biggest disappointment for me. I couldn't understand how a "brand new ride" had such a rough track and bumpy boats. Now I understand.

I hear that the worst thing about the land is that they have nothing fresh to eat there....

How do we but individual premier access? Do we need to buy in advance? Or we can buy through th App on the day , just before the ride?

I wish they would do this instead of boring Indiana Jones. I'm not a fan of Encanto either, so very disappointed in the imagineers.

Imagineers can't please everyone. I personally love Indiana Jones. Other people love Encanto.

Total ride duration is about 60 seconds. By comparison, Gadget's Go Coaster at DIsneyland is 44 seconds, The Barnstormer at WDW is 53 seconds, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at WDW is 170 seconds. So, this is a Barnstormer-level coaster with (almost) Seven Dwarfs-level theming.
