The Decline Of The Sheffield Steel Industry : A Forgotten Reason

Had to be slightly political for once, simply to remind people how the zealots at Sheffield City Council enforced clean air measures, many of which were ignored by other cities.
Our city 'Smirk' Superintendent Inspector fails to contain his glee at the fact some of our industries were struggling with the draconian measures.
Of course we want clean air and don't want to choke to death, but it seems our council had decided to implement these measures knowing full well what the results would be.
Just think about that...........
