Extremely helpful tutorial!!! Saved my bacon the other night during a fill-in for an ailing guitarist friend.
There's one change I made and it's in the chording section "When you believe in things ...". On the last chord I flatten the top note a semitone. In the key of E the chord is B7(b13). -- xx7887 --

Guitar has more of a fast shuffle like: E e D e G xD xee A B D e G xD xBDe. I play it in the 1st position using the open A, D and G instead of the 5th fret, it just sounds funkier and dirtier that way. Keep in mind that the guitar should be tuned down to Eb as the sing eas originally written in Eb Dorian.
Nobody plays this correctly on guitar. It was written for clavinet.

Where do you come from to tune your guitar 1/2 higher? It's not even 432 which is lower than 440! Did you eat some beans in the evening?
And all the comments that congratulate you, makes me laugh, it's because they don't play guitar.
What are you talking about?! The song is in Eb minor key and therefore the guitar is tuned half step down. It's pretty easy to understand.
