It is also known as the "Eternal city" or "Caput Mundi," coming from Latin and meaning capital of the world. The city has 280 fountains and more than 900 churches. Nearly 700,000 euros worth of coins are tossed into Rome’s Trevi Fountain each year. The proceeds are donated to Caritas to help those in need.

Il Duomo di Milano è la Chiesa più grande d'Italia (la basilica di San Pietro non è Roma, e Vaticano. Capisco che praticamente rientra in Roma, ma è città del Vaticano).
Il grattacielo più alto d'Italia è a Milano, e i suoi grattacieli sono meravigliosi.

And this is just landscapes not buildings or human heritage I could make much more. France is far beyound by its diversity and modern history. L'Unesco non ha incluso tutti i parchi di Roma allora, che tra l'altro è il Comune più verde e più grande d'Europa

I was lucky enough to have the holiday of my life... Went all around Italy. Venice, Verona, Florence, Rome, Pompeii, Cetara, Lece, Parma then Turin. What a, excuse my language, fucking beautiful country. Every place we went to I was just in awe at how beautiful everything was. My favourite is Venice then Rome. Just two beautiful places with so much to offer historically and architecturally. Cetara in the coast was also very beautiful and quiet. I love Italy and I can't wait to travel there again...

Ragazzi ho le lacrime agli occhi, basta scorrere i commenti per vedere quanto tutto il mondo ci ammiri e ci invidi... noi italiani siamo i primi a non capire la nostra importanza, a ridimensionarci sempre, a dividerci in questa ridicola lite tra nord e sud, quando dovremmo essere uniti insieme come popolo ITALIANO. Leggere uno della Malesia, dall’altra parte del mondo che scrive in latino ROMA CAPVT MVNDI mi fa rabbrividire e pensare che esco di casa e trovo i muri pieni zeppi imbrattati di scritte “roma ladrona”... solo quando prenderemo coscienza di chi siamo stati e che cosa abbiamo rappresentato e rappresentiamo per il mondo, insieme dalla Sicilia al Trentino, solo allora potremo risollevarci...

Beautiful video! I've visited it many times and I'm always awe struck and paralyzed at the majesty of the ancientness of this exquisite Eternal City! The magnitude of how old the city and its monuments are leaves me in utter awe! As many times as I've visited the Coliseum, it always left me feeling humble to be in the presence of something so ancient. That's why when I hear in the news of bimbos (and mimbos) doing graffiti on this monument like the bimbos from California doing so, it enrages me! No respect for history! I wish all tourists would better respect such magnificent ancient sites and cherish them!
