  • Decided to pickup a stainless steel bottle for the bike riding. I am a fan of YETI and love the double wall insulated bottles. Been looking for something like this for bikes, finally found one from #CAMELBAK that is actually bike cage compliant. I am looking forward to putting this thing to use this season! #Cycling #MTB #WaterBottle #StainlessSteel #DoubleWall #Vaccum

Great review! Saw about 5 reviews before yours. None of them showed the water flow example.

Ha..thanks 😊 water flow is great when the bottle is full. Once you get closer to empty side it doesn’t flow as well. And I have a hard time getting the last little bit out. But overall it’s a great bottle and I expect it to last a wholly lot longer than the traditional plastic bottles.

10:16 I'm the weird guy who likes to "let it drip" in my mouth (with any bottle). I can use them many times without deep cleaning. My thinking is that the bacteria from my mouth don't get transferred to the bottle, so if it's just watter i put in it and don't touch it with my lips it will be cleaner for longer time. I drink all the water and fully dissasamble it to let it dry after a ride so it doesn't catch mold or smell. This flow test you did was CRUCIAL for me. i loved it how it flowed, just how i like to drink from it.
I ordered a 22 oz one from amazon as they are 30 USD now (usually 40 USD) and will test it in my bike, as i personally don't care that much about weight, but i care about plastic taste in my water. if i really like it i will buy a second one to take to my workplace, as i'm trying to use less plastic if possible in my life.
Great review man, and nice youtube channel in general, keep it up!

Thanks man appreciate the comment! Yes I saw they were on sale…I was like “I don’t need another one…but I really do want another one !” So far they’re great! Take a bit of a beating pretty quickly but still should last a good long while vs the plastic ones

@@MASHLEY69i have a big piece of reflective vinyl that I was thinking to use to protect the bottle, at least it will scratch the vinyl and not the metal itself from putting it in the bottle cage. It won't look as good but it will last longer for sure lol

@@Santiago.Pereyra good idea. I put a couple of stickers on mine…I actually just finished a ride and the bottle flew out of the cage, and took some more damage lol. It’s developing a nice patina 😂

I run the Polar one myself. If that stainless can keep it cold for at least half as advertised, i may get one

Yep. I’ve been running one bottle and a large half gallon yeti in the truck for when I need to fill up. I think this is going to work out great!

Been using the Titanium bottle and just added a pair of the Steel bottles (the latter will be for hiking) and I can attest that it does keep the water cold for a long while. I prep the bottle with ice first to cool the interior. And then when ready add more ice and liquid and it’s good for the day. Flow is great and no squeeze needed. And yeah bottle cages will leave marks, but as you say, stickers can remedy that if it bothers folks. For me it’s a tool and does the job. Time to recycle the plastic bottles.

Nice review! Your closing statement regarding cleaning of the cap triggered my question. With the regular podium bottles you can fully disassemble the cap and fully clean them. Is that something you can do with this model? I always worry about being able to really scrub things out when they get dirty..

@@jonzylka9474 so this bottle does not come apart as much as the other bottles. But it breaks down enough to clean it pretty good. I use those little straw brushes to get into the crevices and so far it seems ok.
