Just got a 1999 automatic with 85,000 miles for 300 bucks. Brand new tires starts and runs, needs a little bodywork and some customizing but it’s gonna be a fun toy.
me too man, it was like 3 years ago, manual, SR20. Fixed it, now its completely rust free, swapped SR20DET, still doesnt drive yet what i remember, it was the most fun car i've ever had :D
What I like about g20s is people dont really know what they are... to be honest somtimes I feel like the car doesnt even know what it want to be... handles amazing at 140 completely stock, and then is still the fastest touge car catching air into blind corners! This is a car I at least will keep forever
Avoid the cvt at all costs. The standed nissan 4speed auto is bad, but the 6speed cvt is even worse. T4 is AWD and will be extremely gutless. The autech is only woth buying in manual. Get a fwd with the sr20De with a manual, doesn't really matter which model as long as its in good condition and low KS (and a good price ofc)
I've owned my G20 for about almost two years... yes the engine is ok. Some electrical issues where randomly all the lights on the dash have a war, but sold car, almost to older GM vehicles of the era. Mine is just a base auto... absolutely gutless out of lights, sluggish in first, but once it hits 3rd at 3200rpm it keeps up with most traffic. Found out the hard way that starter replacement is a b*tch & a half, replacement of the PCV valve gasket cost me $40 from Z1 from a 1993 Silvia😂 stupid string car as is... 226k & still cugging along👌

I had a 2002 Infiniti g20 (P11) with the 5 speed and LSD. Awesome car.. Sold almost 20 years ago and still looking for it.. it's in the PNW somewhere.
