A bizarre and unique genius. The legendary John Cale. Never loses his edge.
It's so nice to see John smile and laugh in this video. He always comes across so serious in every other interview I've seen him do.
I wonder if John Cale realises how gorgeous he was when he was young. And that lovely Welsh accent.
I like two velvet underground songs, but I love John Cale's music.
His voice is so deep & dulcet Xx
John Cale was a horn bag when he was young ❤
Digitalexistential, thanks a zillion for posting this. It was a magical night in Cardiff. All the best.
Nice watching this over and over again. Never ending pints in the background haha! Have been in the pub several times. I hope it stays open. Cheers!
Nice to see Mirandaw Sawyer interviewing John Cale, cool....I always felt that John Cale's solo stuff was more interesting than Lou Reed's
i love the vulcan & john cale.

3:35 what a stupid mistake...
Syfoll which mistake?
@@glitch373 Lou's pop sensibility? Did these guys never hear his feedback solos?
Syfoll lol I thought that might be what u were referring to. Very correct, Lou always ended up on the fringe again eventually. Berlin, metal machine music, songs for drella, and then lulu.
@@Syfoll lou was the pop sensibility of the group. he brought the doowop, rnb, and rockabilly
