Never can I purchase a home cleaning device without consulting this channel. If it has not been reviewed yet by Vacuum Wars, I just cannot purchase it. There is never any bias, just straight up facts!
Thank you! That's the best thing we can hear!
I'm the same way. I watch your shows a lot
Same lol. Thank you
A good tip my old detailing boss taught me is the more you saturate the stain, the further you push the stain down into the fabric and make it harder to pull out. Start drier and progress as the stain comes out.
Thank you for the tip!
A tip for anyone watching.. my dog had a UTI and was peeing in my home when I wasn't home. I could not get rid of the smell. Finally, I used vinegar and baking soda. I used the baking soda to detect where the pee was because it would turn yellow where my dog peed. I would let it sit overnight with a small amount of vinegar on it. And I used vinegar to counteract the smell. After spraying the carpet with a light amount of vinegar and water mix, I shampooed the carpet. It worked amazingly!! It completely removed the smell!
Your timing with these topics is almost psychic! Everytime I'm in the market for a vacuum you always have a video out just a few weeks ahead. I so appreciate your thorough and scientific research
Aw shucks! Thank you!
FB knows when we are googling topics and then when we go to to look for info or videos on our topic. Voila! Fb shows us links to videos or fav person or vids that are based on those things we've just starting researching .. the use of algorithm is helpful for sure!
💯% Same!
Thank you for all of your hard work so the consumer doesn't have to do it! Looking forward to new videos in 2024.
Thanks so much!
Thank you for conducting a thorough review, rather than simply selecting products to promote for profit. I wish you had reviews for everything I purchase. My life would be so much easier. Thanks again
Please continue the long format videos with individual test if possible. I know it is a lot of more work, but if viable I'd like to see the tests of your spreadsheet as you used to post before.
I appreciate the short video, but I take so much value from your older styled videos, going test by test and comparing the results as it goes. 😎👍👍👍
agreed. Came here to buy a spot cleaner, and it's cool to see a top 1, 3, or 5 options.. but it would be Really nice to know why #1 is so vs #2 or 3, etc based on the criteria. Because if it's a tight race and one ends up winning #1 because it is cheaper and a better 'value' that's fine, but if I'm just out to buy the best spot cleaner regardless of price or if I can get a good deal on #2 or #3 for example to where that 'value' advantage isn't the case, it'd be a shame to ignorantly not get the best thing for my use-case just because I blindly followed the overall recommendation here. Having an 'objective' scoring system is great, but with so many variables impacting the score, it'd be great for consumers if they knew those variables and could weight things themselves to get their own personal use-case #1
I too have no idea why he spends the entire video droning on about the testing parameters...but not really any of the results whatsoever. Not even a cursory comparison between the top 5 models he linked. This all sort of defeats the purpose of a "The Best" video.
I agree
💯 the video or blog post doesn’t even mention the 15 models that were compared.
I agree with this! I was looking forward to seeing each model compared!
This must be the best concise frill free video i have watched on YT! Thank you
Thank you!!!
I've been using only peroxide for years, after examining various treatments, and noticing that peroxide was the main ingredient. It's cheap and effective.
Hydrogen peroxide?
Again!! Outta the park! Thank a bunch I was waiting for this to buy! Smiles and blessings!
You are so welcome! Thank you!
Whoa! CarpetMuscleTV is the best carpet guy around!!! Awesome video👍🙏
This has to have been the best review/test video I have had the pleasure of seeing. Thank you.keep up the great work
about to buy a spot cleaner and this is a good guide. thank you!
Tremendously done. Just bought everything you recommended through the provided links. This was a really thorough well thought out review. We’ve been struggling with our pets and furniture, so I’m hopeful this will knockout the stains and smells. I added a brush as an agitator for the peroxide and chlorine.
Awesome, thank you! We hope it works out well for you!
I've been anxiously waiting for this updated video. I needed your recommendation for this year. Thank you so much love your channel!!!
I can't imagine that much has changed since he made it lol
I'm glad I watched the whole video rather than skip ahead. Very well done. Very informative. Keep up the great videos!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Your work deserves more recognition. Thanks again for another great video
Thank you too!
Thank you!
Thank you so much for the hard work you put into your videos and helping us make an informed decision with all the overwhelming choices out there.
You are so welcome!
I'm so glad to find your page, most reviews online are so spammy and give very little details. I couldn't find any reviews that give suction power.
Glad it was helpful!
Also, thank you for all the extra information and insights like using hydrogen peroxide and chlorine dioxide
Holy crap! This was the most in depth short review ever!!! This is was awesome and super helpful! 🙏🏽👍🏽💕
Glad to hear that! Thank you!
The timing of this video is perfect. I'm just about to buy one of these while they're on sale
Nice!
Great job with this video!! Thank you!
Glad you liked it!
🎉 phenomenal review. Thanks for all your research. I have.
Awesome! Thank you!
Thank you for the informative video. Why did you rank the Bissell Spotclean Pro over the PetPro?
The swivel handle is important to me because of arthritis in my hands which makes it painful to “fight” the hose into position. I will replace my SpotClean Pet Pro with the Kenmore!
We hope you enjoy it!
I had a Bissell Little Green Pro. The hose cracked after extensive use. Bissell says they can't replace it because the hose is integrated to the machine body. This seems to be a common issue with these portable spot cleaners. Gets frustrating when they say they can't do anything about it.
I read about this issue right before buying the Little Green Pro and decided to buy the extended warranty just in case. I made a habit to always clean the machine after each use. Surprisingly the hose cracked and here I am without a vacuum (but at least I got all my money back). I'm surprised none of these companies advertise replaceable hoses and even more surprised there isn't a portable, corded, non-hose spot cleaner. Mildly frustrating to say the least haha.
I had to toss a Bissell because of a cracked hose. I patched it thrice but got fed up with it. Seemed like such a waste.
@@pastasauce It is a complete waste of machinery if the hose is cracked and Bissell says there's nothing they can do about it.
Can any other brands hoses be replaced?
Thank you for the great information.
Our pleasure!
Thank you always for the great testing and detailed results.
For the number one pick Kenmore KW2001 SpotLite, it appears that there’s no brush rollers to agitate the fabric. Is this correct?
Awesome video!
Wow, awesome comparison! I wish you could test it on black carpet, where it is used in cars and can accumulate salt after winter.
Pretty neat video, I would have liked to see you use those products like hydrogen peroxide and such on some other colored carpets. Just to see if you did manage to run into any other issues. Great video as always keep on rocking the world of the cleaning industry. Oh, I guess one last question: Do you have a video on the best vacuum cleaners that still use bags?
I found that Odo-ban at a 2x the recommended dilution with even just a towel & stomp gets both the smell & color stain out better than resolve. ( i have a senile 13 y/o med sized dog - so a decent sized bladder) & that if i use odo-ban & the bissell little green it gets nearly all of the small & stain. you must let it sit - i found that is a big key step. I'd be interested to see if it's just pulling surface stain or all the stain.
Have you ever tested Mytee Extractors. They are professional grade cleaners and I’ve always been curious how much better they are, considering their price tag. Many car detailers use this brand.
I owned the Bissell Spot Clean Pro, even though both of the Bissell's finished well in the test and I did enjoy my machine, it's hard to recommend it because they are notorious for the hoses cracking/tearing. Mine lasted 2 years EXACTLY when the hose became torn near the wand. Bissell doesn't sell replacements unfortunately so now of course it's just a paperweight.
Thank you
You're welcome
I finally bought a Bissell Spot Clean Pro. It made my sofa look like new again but it is DEAFENING! Who knew how much of a work out using one of these machines are!!!
Yea, use ear protection
Can I suggest for regular vaccums to try pet hair on rubber flooring/stall mats?
It’s far harder than regular hard floors because the pet hairs’ charge has it cling onto the rubber and it’s a hard test to pass after many runs
Thanks for this i needed it😍
No problem 😊
I just bought Bissell Multiclean. Hopefully it will be good for mattress n sofas
Very useful information
Glad you liked it!
Thank you for this! What made you decide that the rug doctor was inappropriate for the top spots despite the suction, swivel and tank capacity?
2:30 Have you tested warm water vs cold? If warm is better, and you have a warm water supply, this sounds like a pretty cool feature to me.
Why would cool water be better?
It depends on the stain. Pet urine, milk stains have proteins that hot water cooks and makes it harder to remove. Grease and grime do better w/cool water.@@oscarzapata7192
Honestly I have a heating one and the water runs out so fast you're just as well to put hot water in the tank in the first place. I don't think the heater does much.
Is the difference between #2 and #4 mainly the attachments? (Little green pro vs little green “pet” pro
Thank you for a great review! Please consider posting the list as we cannot purchase Kenmore or Shark in New Zealand. Also, would like to see which was better Bissell SpotClean and Hoover ONEPWR, and if you reviewed any Karcher spot cleaners?
My Go - To... For great Info....Spot on
Appreciated!
I really appreciate you for these test.. it this makes purchasing so much easier.
Glad to hear it! Hope you are happy with whichever you choose!
@@VacuumWarsi got the kenmore its coming today! 😊
For urine use something that has an enzyme in it like nature's miracle(sold in pet stores and on line)for smells. It has to sit so it can break down the bacteria that causes the odor. I also use a product called Folex that is great on stains. I've gotten cherry ice out of beige carpet with it. It's also great for clothing, especially kids with stains.
After watching this video, we just purchased a Bissell little green pro. It works great! However, after cleaning a few spots around the house it has reviled how dirty our carpet was everywhere else, and our need for a traditional upright carpet cleaner. I went back and watched the Best Bissell Carpet Cleaners 2023 video, and feel fairly well informed. My question is: if we get one of these, would it also do the spot cleaning job just as well as the little green pro. I know it will be heavier and more cumbersome, and don’t mind those drawbacks as long as the performance (suction at the wand, etc.) is the same.
Curious to this as well
What tank did you had attached to your Ryobi Pressure sprayer? I’ve been looking for this setup.
Can you do a "good, better, best" comparison for carpet cleaners in regards to using them specifically for cars and trucks as the usage in vehicles can vary quite differently from household use considering the smaller spaces and varied surface angles and textures? Thanks!
Out of curiosity, did you use ever nature's miracle urine remover? I personally love it, but have only used it as an odor eliminator since I haven't had staining issues so I'm curious if it would remove staining. It's an enzyme based formula so it already breaks down the proteins that cause a urine smell, something extremely important when you're trying to break habits for pets.
curious as to why the rug doctor pet spot cleaner didnt make it in the top 5 even though it had the most suctioning power?
I mean.... this is simply brilliant. Thanks for your work. I'm literally buying one of the review products now... I hope you get kick backs!
So glad you found it helpful! thank you!
Have you ever tested the Clorox pet urine remover? I’ve found it to be the best and it does contain hydrogen peroxide.
Is Kärcher not in the test or are they not available in the USA? The "Kärcher Puzzi 10/1", for example, is good if you use it professionally.
Is there like a spreadsheet?
I just have a question : did you test the bissel spot clean pro advanced ?
Or is it new ?
This might be the best laid out review video I've ever watched....ever.
Thank you!
I’m not sure if you’ve done a review on the Tineco CARPET ONE Spot Smart Cordless Carpet and Upholstery Spot Cleaner.
If you have, can you please share the video if not, can you please share your thoughts?
Thank you for this very informative video! Any way we could see a copy of your spreadsheet? I’m much more interested in things like suction and noise level than tank capacity / cord length for example
Thanks! We aren't able to share that but we still hope the video is helpful.
Do you mind sharing the excel spreadsheet containing the metrics you tested?
what product do you recommand to use in the solution tank? only water after the perooxyde traitement or ...? I was looking for the kenmore cleaner
any idea how to clean water marks on fabric sofa? with steam cleaner alone or some kind of product?
Pls review the dreame l10s ultra
Could I use dupray steamer in place of these?
FYI, Cleva makes the Kenmore. They're better known for their Vacmaster wet/dry vacs.
I didn’t see the Bissell 3624. Are the vacuums coming out just outperforming it already? I see a review you did on it from years ago where you seemed really impressed by it (minus the reservoir design). Just wondering where the Bissell 3624 stacks up against your top choices here. Basically I’m between Bissell 3624 which was your #1 in a previous video and the kenmore which is your #1 here.
The is for a great concise video
I just bought the #2 one before see this video. Nice!
Hope you enjoy it!
What about the tineco cordless?
Which 15 models were compared? Didn’t see any list in the description or blog post.
Hi, my trust carpet cleaner told me to use hydrogen peroxide with baking soda and some drops of dish liquid works really well. Maybe next time you can try it.
Are any of these machine cordless or have you tested any cordless ones? I wondered if they would be less powerful. TIA 😊
Hey can you please do bissel lift off carpet vaccum?
I have the little green pro! And i can say im happy with the power, since really the level of clean is completely in the hands of the user. But im really annoyed about the tank design. i could fill the clean tank to the max despite it not being advised, but the dirty tank only uses LESS THAN A QUARTER of the entire tank! And im pretty sure it could go so much higher, really annoying.
Just found this video during my research. I want to add that base off the Amazon reviews the Kenmore doesn't seem to be built well and there has been break downs in the suction circuit/loop and the tank itself. I'm going to go with the Shark base on the brand's reputation and history. I would've love to see a little more info on the top five either as a comparison between them or highlights.
Whats the name of the professional sprayer container being used on time stamp 4:17?
Do they make the Bissell Little Green Pro anymore?!? I have not been able to find it anywhere. I can only the find the Pet Pro, which I would get, but it has never been rated as high. Do you plan on making a 2024 version or compare some newer ones to your old faves?!
4:21 word of caution…that 12% peroxide is VERY corrosive to your skin. If you’ve ever left 3% peroxide on your skin for a few mins you’ll find that it starts to burn and turn your skin white….the 12% stuff is 4 times as concentrated and will cause a stronger reaction when left on the skin. It’s also very good at breaking down other biological materials so it works well when poured down shower/bathtub drains. You’ll notice a violent foaming reaction and what looks like water vapor off gassing from the drain - this is normal. Please use caution and wear gloves when handling.
Can you test iRobot scooba 450?
I wish someone would do this for the European market market.
I’d like to know how you clean those little plastic pieces in the handle
vacuum wars never misses
Thank you!
Can you make videos for everything I need to shop for please?!
What about the ability to clean the machines themselves? Hoses and attachment brushes? I have a Bissel spot cleaner that’s several years old now but the hose and attachments are so gross even after cleaning w/ bleach.
Are you guys going to do a review on the Deboot X2 omni?
?
Where is karcher compact cleaner?
Random question - why is it possible to buy bottled coyote urine? 😅
Cover scent for hunting deer or hogs.
@@CarpetMuscleTV ahh makes sense, thank you!
The shark is not a stalker the right model is called stain striker portable and you haven’t reviewed the carpet xpert standard and stain striker models
Tuve una Bisell y la devolví porque la succión era pésima.
Sorry to hear that.
¿Can i use theese vacums to clean my vehicule and sofa?
If you follow the manufacturer's instructions, these are good on upholstery and in cars too.
Are the spreadsheet results posted publicly? I can't seem to find them on your website.
Anyways I bought a shark cordless vacuum and a tineco vacmop per your other previous "best" of videos. Those listed the rankings for everything being tested.
However I feel this video and some other recent videos glaze over the results, in fact in this video the results were not really ever presented.
Important results and stats were not clearly shown here such as:
Weight
Tank capacity
Suction power
Noise level
Maintainenance/clear dirty tank
Etc etc
I understand that each product line has different metrics and is a ton of work to present, but if the data is not public and is not shared here for key metrics to help decision making I feel the top 3 lineup here did not really help make any decision. I don't know what the top 3 are even best at... all that was stated is just that 2 are new, 1 has more reviews, and the winner is 'impressive, has ergonomic tank' paraphrasing but please provide more details for future videos
I know you said pure hydrogen peroxide so just want to make sure, do you mean that you use it undiluted for pet stains? I’ve been struggling with my dog and I really want something to clean up my carpet better than the pet stain removers I’ve been buying.
Also curious about this. Also it's it just in the pretreatment or in the tank itself as well, instead of it as well as the regular carpet treatment liquid. Same question for the tablets.
The point of the hydrosteam isn't to clean better than normal, it's to reduce the amount of water needed so that the carpet/fabric dries faster as it isn't as wet. Was that taken into account?
this is big for car detialing. If the hydrosteam performed just as well as other models, that's a big win in my opinion
@@tier1detailing Very true, and it looked fine in comparison with the others from the pictures he showed (pretty much on par and even superior in one of the 3 stains), which is why I thought it important to mention.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
best video
Thank you!
Have you tested the Vivohome carpet cleaner? I am wondering about that one there’s also a Tzumi and some others, I like the way the bissell water shoots better than most other models
We havent looked at that one but thank you for pointing it out!
The most annoying thing with the Kenmore Spot Lite out of the box is that there is no place to put the second tool. The manual conveniently ignores this.
