I hate getting stuck in situations like these at the shop. I had a kid with shoulder length hair come in and wanted curtains with a taper. Turns out kid didn't know how to actually scrub his scalp when he washed his hair, so it was almost dreadlocked underneath the surface. Haircut probably took me close to an hour and a half. It's haircuts like that where I wish I charged by the time the haircut took.

Traction alopecia is reversible if there is no scar tissue.
Should have gone straight goatee for a cleaner look, sideburns lacking.
Sponge should be avoided if you have thin (can see scalp) or 4C hair (tangling your hair).
You do cut hair with heart 4 sure. Miraculous result.
I see you were using a rat tail comb.if you run into this again try using the metal end of the comb. This will hurt using the comb part.this comb is mostly used in parting hair it makes a perfect straight line when use on hair.your cuts are excellent ✌️💕

Locs take a lot of work to maintain and when the pore get clogged you tend to shed.

If you ever comb out locs again, I'd recommend using water and conditioner. It will be less painful for the client, minimize hair loss, and overall just make the job easier.

Cut was great but he needed some moisture(pause)added to his hair badly
If you ever find yourself in a similar situation it’s best to dampen the loc and add conditioner to undo them.
see, i was bout to dampen it, but i was like meh its too much product everywhere. But definitely didn’t think about using conditioner, good tip. Thanks

You came a long ways from the basement. Those wire things that look like a toothbrush you use to use to sharpen your clippers don't work. I found them in dollar tree, that's probably why.
